  Boerum Hill is a great alternative to staying in Manhattan. We were travelling for a friends wedding in the area and probably wouldn't have considered it before but definitely would again. We stayed in the top floor, two bedroomed apartment which gave us much more flexibility than you would have in a hotel room.
