The staff. The library was a nice place to meet guests at breakfast time. The breakfasts were great and superb value. Lovely feeling about the place and nice local bar on ground floor. Very quite for such a central location. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.
The location couldn't have been better particularly the proximity to subways.

Loved our short stay here. Great location and charming inn - more like staying in a home than a hotel, which is especially hard to come by in New York. We had large, comfortable room on the main floor. Friendly staff (and friendly cat!), cozy breakfast room. We liked the bar downstairs as well. We will definitely come back here another time.

The Jade is in an excellent location (right smack dab in the middle of Greenwich Village) and is surrounded by great restaurants and shopping. The staff was extremely helpful and so sweet helping me with my luggage and making sure I was comfortable in their hotel. The hotel itself is really beautiful and very luxurious. The staff was very friendly, the pictures of the hotel is real: "What you see is what you get" -
The beds are comfortable, rooms has a good size for a hotel in Manhattan - Clean and nice!
The bar is open til 02.00 and has a smoking area.
There is free coffe in the lobby in the mornings, and fresh water and ice tea doing the day.

The staff were brilliant. On check in we discovered another persons luggage in our room. They promptly removed that and then put us in another room....along with 3 free breakfasts, cocktails, beer and food! Gave us a late check out at no extra cost and the bar staff are very friendly. A great, clean comfortable room and not far from the sights or subway. I would stay again.

the hotel was ideally located. All staff were very helpful and friendly, and rooms were excellent. HOWEVER, beware of booking a high-floor room thinking this will give you a view. I booked two high-floor rooms. One had a lovely view over the skyline, while the other had a view of a brick wall! The hotel very kindly moved us up three floors, wher we got a view of........water tanks. So view not guaranteed! Supplement would be better reserved for those rooms with views. However, that did no

The location was perfect for what we were there for. It was so easy to get anywhere from our hotel location. It was right next to the subway station, making it simple to go uptown to downtown and anywhere in between. The staff was very helpful and friendly! We also loved the atmosphere!! The live band downstairs was great (besides the fact that we could hear it in our room the first night).

The staff are fabulous, very friendly, professional, cannot do more to help. The pool is great - at times (weekend afternoons when the sun is out) it is quite a "scene" which might annoy someone looking to relax but it is what it is (and at other times it is very relaxing). The restaurants are very good and the rooftop bar/club PHD is great on a Saturday (although be aware that it is run separately from the hotel so after 11 or so, being a hotel guest does not guarantee access).
