Hotel is 'as-expected' but 7 blocks from subway in a nothing-
special neighbourhood. We had a small issues with our booking through
the website : we booked 3, they expected 2 and although a bit stubborn
to start they fixed the problem. The gym is ok but the pool hours are
too short : 10 to 6pm

We had a wonderful experience here and will do it again. The staff was MOST helpful (they turned our radiator off when it got warm in the room and also were smiling and accommodating with another small request we had to freeze ice packs in their kitchen freezer). We love this upper west side location, close to really great 'locals feel' shopping- not too touristy. Still some good street vendors nearby.
