The hotel is in a perfect location with tastefully decorated rooms.
The staff are über friendly and will help you with anything. It doesn't matter that there's no elevator as the staff help you with your bags without even asking them to.

My fiancé and I stayed here for two nights. The location is brilliant and the receptionist that greeted us (forget her name but lots of tattoos) was lovely, very helpful and kind. Walking distance to Bourbon street but far enough away to not hear noise. Close to the French Market. Room was nice, great king sized bed. Courtyard was perfect for my husband to hang out and use his ipad and be able to smoke. We will definitely stay here again! Great location!!

Located in the heart of French Quarter, 5 minutes walk from Bourbon Street, 10 minutes Jackson Square or Canal Street. Room where i stayed was small, just big enough for a queen bed, bathroom was actually bigger - but very comfortable and perfectly adequate for solo traveller.
I was a little concerned about walking back late at night after reading several reviews - but really nothing to worry about. Would definitely recommend - excellent value for money. -
A nice old building with typical for nola iron balcony (there are tables
and chairs there, so you can sit, have a cup of coffee and admire the
view of the old French Quarters). The rooms are renovated with clean and
modern bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The people in hotel very
friendly and helpful. The was no safe in the room but there is a safety
deposit box at the front desk and its free! Location is great - just two
blocks from Bourbon Street.

I met someone called Nathaniel and I had the best time ever ,just regret I didn't ask for his e-mail because he forgot his glasses and I wish I can give them back to him ... The bartender Sarah is the best!!! And Dauphine hotel has it all to have a wonderfull staying at New Orleans!! Thank you ..also I must congratulate the security staff they are amazing too!!

Location could not have been better. Quiet safe street, just a few blocks from everything there is to see in FQ New Orleans. Character of the building made you "feel" like you were in NOLA. My husband and I have been to New Orleans many times and have stayed everywhere throughout the city. This was probably our favorite place for location, budget, cleanliness and privacy. It felt like we had our own apartment and you really get the full Quarter experience being in the heart of the neighborhood. Easy walk to everything!

The room was pretty much what we saw on the internet, so pretty much what we expected. The courtyard and our balcony overlooking the the courtyard was really nice. We really liked the location because we were close enough to walk a short distance to Bourbon Street but we were far enough away from all of the loud music and party goers that we could sit peacefully on our balcony and enjoy the sun and fun from a distance.

I came as a solo traveler in the middle of the night because of a late flight, and even though the staff had confusion about who was supposed to be in which room, they handled it just fine that evening and in the morning when we switched rooms to get it straightened out the way we were supposed to be. Staff was excellent and the hotel was in the perfect location in a
quieter section of the French Quarter (but still close to all the
action). The room and hotel in general were very clean and comfortable
and looked recently renovated. We were very pleased with our whole
experience.

If you go to New Orleans that is the place to stay - perfect location in the french quarter. just the way how new orleans should be. - Even though the Le Richelieu is not smoke free, the management made every effort to keep tobacco smoke out of our room.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Both Valet and Front desk were
always prompt and willing to help. Hotel is in a great location. I would
not stay anywhere else. Accommodations were clean and very comfortable.

Loved the location. Was able to walk to the Superdome for the game.
Able to walk to or was picked up at the hotel for all excursions.
It's far enough away from Bourbon Street to be able to sleep with
no noise and close enough to be on Bourbon Street to walk there in
minutes. It's about a 20 minute walk to Frenchman Street. I would
stay there again.
