I thought the hotel was beautiful, if I stay there again I'd try to upgrade to a balcony room. It was summer so the area was off-season and very quiet. The pool was wonderful and the courtyard was a great place to sit and relax. -

We liked everything! Charming structure and setting, in the woods, but just back from the main road. Comfortable, clean, well appointed room and bathroom-not luxurious but more than satisfactory A superb value for the price. Wonderful, friendly, helpful, accommodating owners. This is our fourth stay at this motel, and we will always return here when in the area. It is a bit dated, but that simply adds to the charm. Everything works, and it is clean and comfortable. The staff is wonderful and always makes us feel welcome. Breakfast is great! It feels like a home away from home -

It is a road-side motel; nothing more, nothing less. Location is an advantage as it is tucked away from the main road on a little side street, which gives it a strong plus compared to other road-side motels. Expect little and you will be happy. Very decently priced for the area. -

We had a deluxe one bedroom suite which was perfect for myself, my
husband and two adult children (17, 21). Cathy, the desk manager was
extremely helpful, courteous and personable. We had originally booked a
2 bedroom suite which was too big and helped us contact the online site
we used to book the room to better suit our needs.

So i recently stayed at the butternut inn for 3 nights for some early season skiing. Aside from the price being more than affordable, the room was clean, and the free breakfast was delicious. Also the owner.. Jim is a great guy. I highly reccomend staying there. -
