our unit was like a small efficiency apt new furnishings clean comfortable good location exceptional value Japanese garden coconut island 2-3 blocks away would stay here again in a heartbeat. Really enjoyed the staff. They were all great. Brenda was fantastic, and helped out in time of need. Friendly, helpful staff made my stay a whole lot better. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They upgraded my room to ocean view and we had a perfect sunrise. I would stay there again.
todo comentarios » the convenience of the room, hot water for shower and kitchenette. Very friendly staff and very clean. You get what you pay for. Friendly and right on the bay. Close to the airport. It was inexpensive. We only used the hotel to sleep and eat breakfast. Other than that we were visiting the volcano and other related places. price, location, amenities, free parking. Close to town and beach. The location was good. Location. location. location. location. The Location, near to city and beach. Nothing to say here. No complaints. The building and rooms are dated and could use some up keep, although all locations on that side of the island are in similar condition so not unexpected. Beds are pretty hard, must be extra extra firm. Roaches. Very olds don't well maintained. There was supposed to be wifi but it only worked in the lobby. We had to give each of 8 devices to the person to enter the password instead of telling us and letting us put in the password at our leisure. There were roaches, lots of them that could have been prevented with spraying. The rooms looked run down and my sons heard cursing from the other guests while sitting on the balcony. Once we smelled pot in the hallway outside our room. I would go to Hilo again but pick a different hotel. looked and felt like a second rate operation. gives 2 star places a bad name. Not clean. Roaches in room. Room was very shabby and uncomfortable. I was almost afraid to use the shower. It did not look clean. It probably was but it and the rest of the room was very old and needed work. Very poor poor, condition in room. -I booked for 2 adults and two children and was provided only one double and sofa. No provisions for extra bed too. -dirty room and sheets -no lights -unclean bathroom -no service available in the evening and early morning hours from help desk. everything else. Room was in dire need of updating. Sheets were so thread bare you could see the blanket thru them. Carpet was disgustingly filthy. We slept in our clothes and didn't even try the shower. Would never stay there again!. The room smelled really bad Everything was dirty, even i felt dirty after an hour in this room. Dump,terrible sheets and bed, cockroaches,messy and old.
