Lo que la gente dice
This hotel is in a great location for all the North Coast has to offer. It was very clean and the bedrooms were extremely comfortable ane well fitted out. they have family rooms which are 2 rooms with a double and 2 single beds. This makes it a super location for a budget family break and some of the offers they have during the summer are well worth looking into if you are looking for great value.
For the money it was super and I will stay again. todo comentarios »
This hotel offered a good value for money family room, with 2 separate
bedrooms, well finished bathroom, clean and good space in bedrooms.
Perfect for that much needed last minute overnight break. Fab to be
right in centre of portrush, obviously might be too noisy in peak
season. Couldn't fault breakfast. Delicious!. If prices stay at good
rate, we would definitely stay again at the port.
The staff were lovely, from reception to barstaff to waitresses at breakfast. Although a bit dated, the rooms were clean and beds very comfortable,.Breakfast was lovely. Have no complaints about this hotel and would use it again.
We liked everything about The Port, the staff were frienly and helpful, the room was lovely, the food excellent and entertainment first class. Our stay at The Port Hotel was a most enjoyable experience.
Great locatin, and the staff were great as we got there about half 8 and we were seen to right away. Our room was nice and warm for us and the bed very confeywe will definately be back.
Bedroom is confortable.
Breakfast is good and the hotel has a pleasant restaurant.
Portrush is a very small city, but near to the Causeway coast.

I loved the way we had the front window view which was lovely and the flat screen tv.
I liked the way there were seats as well.

The staff were excellent, nothing was a problem. Very good value, old but clean and friendly.
The family room was ideal, my two boys (aged 5 & 6 ) loved having their own room.
The room was very clean and impressive and the staff were excellent in every way.

The staff were great.
Staff were lovely.
staff so friendly.
everything.
Location.
Excellent entertainment on friday saturday night with crazy davy quiz
night and karaoke.
It is a B&B. The price was reasonable. The staff were fine. The
food was good.
Hotel is middle of town , its really cheap for location and dates i stayed .
it was fine clean room, nothing special.
Food and staff.
The room smelt of an old peoples home really was put of by this breakfast was fab.
The location of the hotel.
Great staff.
Slightly tired and a bit old fashioned in the reception area but no more than you would expect and the good points made up for this.
Although room was freshly and nicely decorated, carpets and curtains
little bit tired. Lose the net curtains for voile, and maybe in time new
carpets. This is only constructive criticism.
we liked everthing.
bath looks old with bad appearance.
everything was fine, its an old hotel and budget value so you expect a few creaky floorboards and a few dated features.
The beds were not the comfiest as they were a little hard and there was no fridge where we could keep our milk.
The only downside was there was no lift and I was on top floor so up 5 sets of steep steps. The lady did ask if I needed help with my luggage though. Wouldn't be suitable for older people or anyone that has difficulty with stairs.
The main meal selection was
disapointing.
All good for us again thank you.
Only small complaint hot water tap in sink in bath room was normally
only luke warm but shower was very good.
Nothing.
Parking was difficult
Bathroom was freezing as there's no heating in it
They put us top floor and im pregnant so the stairs wasnt good as theres no lift..so if your pregnant or can't walk a lot of stairs be sure to request a room on the 1/2nd floor.
I couldnt find any faults.
no shower.
our room, it had a stained glass window and no view. maybe because it was a smokeing room.
The breakfast was a bit greasy.
The stairs.
Ordered tea and toast for 6 am as was going to run a marathon. Man that was there wasn't nice.
no lift and didn't say so on website.
nothing.
No lift.
It is difficult to find from the site map given. The room had been
fairly resently redone but the bath and the rest of the hotel were
dated. It was adequate. The town is impossible to navigate as there are
so few street markers and many one way streets.
On street parking , and our shower was leaking pretty bad.
Noise and rooms were bit old fashioned.
The place smelt musty and like an old peoples home.
Our shower didn't work throughout our stay and there was no attempt to move us or compensate us. Also the noise from the bar can be heard throughout the hotel.
Door Man? Got me concerned about clientel Decor very poor Noisy at night
both inside and outside No hot water in sink.
Hotel was very dated with a lot of stairs to climb to our top floor
rooms..heating wasn't workin very well in my room an it was
cold..kettle didn't work no heating at all in bathroom an shower had
a mind of its own to say the least!..no parking posed a major problem on
a busy sat afternoon in portrush took ages to find a space anywhere near
by..overall not great value for money :(.
