The Ship Inn - Fotos
Lo que la gente dice
The small town of Mousehole and its fishing harbour is one of the images of Cornwall one has to see in his life. In the heart of the town lies the Ship's Inn - a port tavern which looks like in the pirates movies. Once you're sitting next to the bar, you can easilly imagine Captain Hook entering through the door. The food is fresh and good, the service is very nice and friendly. It was a huge pleasure to stay there. todo comentarios »
Lovely room with sea views. Rather small but very modern and clean. Ship inn serves good food. Not the cheapest but very well cooked. Bus to Penzance stops right by the ship regularly and only takes a few minutes. Beach is pretty and picturesque.
The location was excellent, right on the harbour with stunning views.
The staff were friendly and the hotel was old and full of history.
Breakfast was very good and the dining room looked over the harbour. The
rooms were very clean and quiet.
lovely pub on the sea side.
had a lovely view over the harbor.
best room is No 3 . we had room 5 which was very small but very clean and well lad out. staff very friendly with good food at night.Breakfast was very good.
The Ship is right on the harbour-side so couldn't be better located. The pub is friendly and cosy and next door and Mousehole is a very pretty place to visit. The room was clean and tidy and had obviously been recently refurbished.
Clean comfortable room with attractive decor, well stocked with the usual toiletries and hot drinks facilities. Good food available in the bar or restaurant. Great view directly over harbour. Friendly staff.
The staff and the ambiance in the pub - with the fire lit and locals popping in and out. The gorgeous view of the bay and the accessibility to explore the rest of Cornwall, either walking or driving. Supberb.
We like the location, and the 2-room family suite on the ground floor. Meals were good, staff very friendly, and kindly accommodating when we needed an early breakfast the last morning.
Loved the location on the harbor wall, the history of the building and the great view from our room. Excellent meals served in the bar/restaurant and friendly staff. Great atmosphere.
Location was great - right on the harbourside so we had amazing views from our room. Friendly staff and good food in the bar. Nice atmosphere in the bar too.
I discovered it's possible to have a room with a beautiful view and a bey window. I'll ask for that room ?? room 5 when I return and will stay longer.
nice view from the room, equipment in the room is reasonable, good breakfast, the pub is cosy with good food, you feel very welcome as a hotelguest.
I loved the position and the quaint harbour. The food was very good and the bar friendly and lively. Accommodation was very comfortable.
Perfect location. Great staff and good beer and food in the pub. Our room looked over the harbour. What more could you ask for.
Superb situation overlooking the picturesque harbour. We had this view from our bedroom.
Very good food-both breakfast and dinner.
The view was wonderful but we did upgrade for it. Restaurant hostess Mel
was ahem and apart from the view made the stay great.
Superb location on waterfront, very good meals at the hotel restaurant downstairs. Friendly welcoming atmosphere in the bar.
Lovely location on the harbour. Good breakfast and pub/restaurant next door. Direct on the coastpath which was wonderful.
Some of the best staff encountered on our trip, beautiful fishing port setting, loved it, lived up to expectations.
Really friendly staff, great pub and very clean wel maintained rooms. Awesome location right on the habour.

Breakfast was very good, with excellent service. It was lovely to be able to sit in the pub the evening and nurse a pint and only have to walk up a few stairs afterwards.
the staff were very helpful and friendly.
breakfast was very nice, my sister said that it was the best musile ever ( it was homemade).
Located right by the harbour
Bed comfortable, room clean.
Pub was nice, beer good, wine list limited [as with most pubs].
Pretty location and quiet.
Location and convenience.
OK room nice breakfast.
Location. View.
locaction.
Location
Food quality and price acceptable.
It is worth knowing that the town has very narrow streets and therefore it is advisable to leave the car either at the parking in front of the town or in the harbour.
Nothing.
The rooms though clean were too small. We had to almost climb over the
end of the bed to get to the bathroom, which was big! A few inches taken
off the bathroom would have added more comfort to the bedroom.
small room.
The room we had was very small even with a standard double bed. It is at the front of a converted cottage next to the Ship and adjacent to the main thoroughfare so was quite noisy, it was also next to the front door which exacerbated the noise. We felt that what was offered did not represent good value for money, we could have done better elsewhere.
Be aware that due to nature of the location (picturesque fishing village with very narrow streets) arriving at busy time of day means parking nearby might be impossible till the day visitors have gone.
Service at dinner was a bit slow one night.
Noise at night - sounded like a band rehearsing nearby (probably not the fault of the hotel). Very narrow roads in Mousehole and driving to find parking was a little tricky.
My back room was very small. But that's not really serious.
the room is small, so a longer stay with bad weather would be problematic.
Nothing - it was as I expected and enjoyed.
It would be good to know before hand that parking as a distance away and
on the sea wall so you would repack luggage and only take up an
overnight bag up the tiny staircase .
Rooms while dated were comfortable, although lacking decent sound control between rooms. we unfortunately experienced noisy room neighbors.
The room was described as compact but should have been described as very small. All the facilities were OK but the space was, frankly, too small especially for the rate.
Nothing.
Nothing.
size of the bed. small double. limited obviously due to size of room. we are quite tall so found it somewhat uncomfortable.
synthetic mattress protector made sleeping in hot weather uncomfortable.
I would have liked more salad items on the menu but really I was very happy overall.
Nothing.
Completely satisfied. Thank you!.
the lack of parking
the size of the bathroom and the fact that there was no bath.
there was nothing that we did not like.
Can't say anything bad about it.
Room suffered from bad damp.
Shower was damaged so not great.
Asked for early breakfast but it was forgotten.
No shelf for toiletries in the shower cubicle and no reading lamp in the seating area.
Sleeping in the house next door would have preferred to have stayed in the Inn.
no car parking.
Small Room
Shower room upgrade needed.
9.00 am breakfast is too late for us.
Dog being fed in the eating area!!!!.
Front door.
The room was on the small side and the windows were dirty. Nothing major though.
I didn't think that the rooms warrented £105 price tag.
I think that £60 per night is right.
The bar food was poor; poorly presented, low quality
Bedroom was in the annex, facing the street on the ground floor; noisy, no privacy.
Bedroom had a double bed and an en-suite. Bedroom measured 6mx4m; very small.
Parking situation should have been mentioned in pub information.
Very expensive for situation and facilities.
Nothing.
Smaller than I expected for the price. Cramped bathroom.
break fast poached eggs well undercooked as was bacon evabienining dinner food was por.
Very small room
Poor quality bed
Access to room poor
No view
Poor to bad value.
