Lo que la gente dice
The Black Bull was a lovely place with a very comfortable, spacious, clean room and great breakfast. We had wifi too and a hair dryer and ironing board. Parking was easy, right on the high street apart from Tues night when we parked behind the Black Bull due to market day on the Wed. The staff were very friendly and helpful with ideas about where to take my daughter when the weather was bad. Although we did not dine there on the Monday night (found a fish and chip shop) we did have some excel. todo comentarios »
Very friendly attitude from bar & kitchen staff. Rooms good size with en-suite facilities. Separate access to hotel for use when pub part shut. Good filling breakfasts and evening catering had a good range of options with large portions. Off street parking at rear. Helpful & friendly staff.
Friendly welcoming staff. Lovely big room 2 single beds linked together making a super king size bed which was very comfortable. Nice big flat screen TV Room & bathroom lovely and warm which was welcome in the freezing outside conditions (-2) Clean room. Lovely tasty breakfast.
The location is great right on the High Street with wonderful shops. The room was excellent with a huge Queen size bed. Bath towels were the proper extra large size. The food was excellent and the evening meal plentiful and well cooked.
Very friendly staff and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Ideal location if you have business in Northallerton. Very good value for money. I stayed here in the week and there was no noise from the pub downstairs.
Have stayed here several times as it is so close to amenities. I have always found them to be very welcoming and will definitely stay here again. Breakfast is excellent and beds very comfortable.
Value for money, clean, recently refurbished room. Breakfast hot, tasty, local produce, well cooked, good tea and coffee. Housekeeper Agnes full of enthusiasm about the town.
The Bulls Head is in a great central location in the pretty market town of Northallerton.
The room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.
The location is excellent, 10 min walk from the train station, close to all shops. The staff were great help when asked anything.
The room was fantastic, very homely yet still neat and clean looking. Looked like it was recently refurbished which is great.
A lovely warm friendly very clean place, every comfort I would need. The room was first class and a credit to the staff.

Warm and comfortable with friendly staff. Would recommend it to anyone.

Rooms were big and warm.
did not empty waste baskets during our stay or make up beds and change towels.
No real downside. Noise from market set up early on Wednesday morning. Evening food not served on Sunday & Monday.
A bath but no shower. The passage ways leading up to the room needed a good hoover. Very noisy because located on main high street. Lots of youngsters partying into the early hours got woken up a few times. Also the floor boards are very creaky can hear when someone is moving about in above room.
The staff were pleasant but I felt needed a bit of training. Service was not in abundance and I had to seek out staff. This was perhaps due to a lack of staff.
There was no blind in the window of the bathroom of our room (room 2), which meant at nighttime there was a danger of us flashing to the folk in the High Street.
The only downs side I would like to say was the fact that we couldn't have an evening meal but I do realise that maybe there isn't the custom for that.
no soap, shampoo, drinking glass in the bedroom.
Bathroom not very clean.
Finding Parking at rear on a busy Christmas shopping / Market day was not so straight forward but managed eventually.
A bit noisy on Friday nights when they have live music in the bar but I still slept alright.
Nothing.
Two nights stay, room was not serviced.
The room was quite dusty, but otherwise was well kept.
Horific noise from drunken younsters till stupid times throught the
night smashing beer bottles and fighting outside, disgruntled all the
guests, but nothing was done about it!!.
Lack of blinds/curtains as room overlooks busy street!, Dusty bulbs/ lights, strange smells! Dusty surfaces/tea-making things,.
Breakfast was only available from 7:30, which was too late for me as I was travelling for work.
Parking difficult.
Noisy at night from inside and outside.
nothing.
No blind at bathroom window that looked out onto street. Creaky floorboards but this is an old building so probably unavoidable.
We booked a double and were given a twin on arrival. When we asked to
move the following morning the male member of staff (don't know if
he was the manager) was less than enthusiastic and offered no apology.
When the batteries in the tv remote didn't work we were asked if
we'd be able to buy some and they'd reimburse us. The bedside
lamp didn't work and the water stopped working half way through
using the shower.
Shower was poor, not aware of market on Sat morning which woke us up earlier than wanted.
The car parking part at the back could have been tidier, also it seemed to be a thorough way which made it very noisy at night.
feeble shower.
It was a very basic pub with rooms. No sense that anybody took much
interest or care about the accommodation. The breakfast was of poor
quality, we opted to have very little to eat there &went to
Betty's Tearooms instead! Extremely noisy throughout the night.
Overall a disappointing.
Poor shower.
room was shabby.
No food in the evening, no bath, noisy rooms, poor quality furnishings, basically a pub - website is misleading.
not clean!!.
No shower
Single pane glass windows meant you could hear everything from the busy high street.
Breakfast was disgusting, plastic looking black pudding to dry and dusty sausages.
