Lo que la gente dice
Friendly staff, my wife and I enjoyed our stay. This was under £100 to
stay on Sunday night, so good value. I don't know whether it would
be the same value for standard rate (sometime twice as much). Hotel
rooms were of adequate size and very clean. Breakfast was in the price
and usual British fried breakfast of sausage, bacon, eggs, scrambled
eggs and stewed tomatoes. Toast laid on too. Hotel is slightly back
from Euston Rd nearer to St Pancras than Euston and in a nice
Victorian crescent of t. todo comentarios »
Front desk staff extremely nice and helpful. Street and neighborhood are safe and quiet, yet within 10 minutes walk of three tube stations, Kings Cross, Euston Square, and Russell Square. Rooms may be small, and stairs narrow, but you can't beat the charm of this historic building and neighborhood. Hearty buffet breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. Would definitely stay here again.
The room was small but clean and comfortable, it was ok for us as we only needed it to sleep in. The hotel was in a good location and handy for getting around London as it was close to tube stations and bus stops. Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends.
Easy to get to from a main line station, just off Euston Road and very quite. Easy access to restaurants/stations/underground/buses/places of interest. 91 bus is a great service from St Pancras to Charing Cross. Buffet breakfast selection was very good as were the staff. The shower was excellent and easy to use (so many are not).
We loved the location and in general everything was okay. It's a budget hotel, we knew this going into it and were a little forgiving. Bathroom though small was clean. Although well appointed my family wished they had wash cloths. Nice big window in room that you could open a bit. Carpeting was nice and relatively new.
-cosy, comfortable
-nice interior design, cute classical style, modern minimalistic style of bathroom
-recetnly installed soft furnishing and new bathroom
-everything clean
-nice, helpful staff
-good location, quiet, safe
-delicious breakfast (if you do not mind it is not continental one).
The staff at the Judd Hotel were great, extremely polite and helpful. The room was not really that small for London, we had a twin and there was plenty of room to move the beds around. The rooms and bathroom were entirely clean, though plainly decorated. Breakfast was reasonable.
bright white cotton sheets and pillow cases, comfortable bed , all very clean. quiet room
original wood shutters in working condition to cut out street light and noise and keep room warmer at night. good cooked breakfast. attentive helpful staff. luggage storage facility.
Couldn't fault this hotel at all !
Very comfortable room - even the pull out sofa bed was extremely comfortable. The location was superb, breakfast was good and it was very quiet at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly ! I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Central London. Close to Euston. Staff on hand and helpful and friendly. Clean room. Warm hotel - was a snowy day and freezing outside. I will definitely stay there again- able to have 3 adults in a room to help keep costs down. Breakfast served until 10.
The location of the hotel in a beautiful crescent which is not far from a major underground and railway station. It is not far from restaurants, pubs and laundry facilities. There is air conditioning in each room and a full breakfast is served..
The hotel is a converted stylish Regency house in a quiet yet central location. Staff were helpful and returned a phone lead that I left behind. Room was modestly sized but stylish and comfortable with a big sash window with a good view.
Close to Euston/St.Pancras station in a quiet street but within a few minutes walk to main roads. Staff were most helpful with any requests. One of a few hotels to offer triple rooms at very reasonable rate and be an excellent standard.
A very good location within easy walking distance of Euston station (6 minutes) in the quiet area of Cartright Gardens. Comfortable room and good cooked breakfast included in the price. We've stayed there 4 times in the last 6 months.
Clean, comfortable rooms (albeit on small side but that's London unless you want to pay 5 star!)
Helpful ,friendly staff (Andrew and Christian)-asssisted with luggage ( I have back problem)
Great location for London City and West End.
Very Convenient area for access to underground.
Quiet area suited our group as we were only there for sleep.
Breakfast was good.
Room was OK, space can be tight with group of four!!
Very useful to offer baggage holding service.
Within walking distance of main train stations. Location was quiet. Able to store our luggage at hotel after signing out until we continued our journey. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly, courteous and helpful.
Great location 5 min walk to Euston and only 25 min walk to West End. Hotel rooms very clean and breakfast was very good. Staff on reception helpful with facility to store luggage after check out. Very reasonably priced.
The hotel is close to University College Hospital where we were visiting a sick patient. The hotel was more than adequate for our purpose. Clean, comfortable, and a good breakfast. All at a reasonable price.
A lovely hotel, very good location which only takes 5-minute walk to king's cross, while it's also very tranquil facing a garden. Lovely decoration, clean room, convenient room facilities, breakfast included.
Staff were fabulous. Breakfast that we supplied was excellent. Only a few stops to the city on the underground. The only downer for this hotel is that the rooms were very small and the bed a bit hard.
Great location, nice and clean rooms, friendly staff, basic breakfast but of good quality... true London atmosphere and conveniently located at walking distance from different underground stations!.
Lovely clean room. Nice bathroom and good amount of storage for a small room. Great location for business travel via northern railway stations or into London. Location relatively quite for London.
For our visit to London, the location was adequate for our needs.
The room was very clean and tidy.
The service and friendliness of the staff was excellent.
Breakfast was as you would expect.
Friendly Staff and smooth check-in / check-out.
Clean and well appointed en-suite.
Pot of tea and toast provided at breakfast.
Typical "Buffet" breakfast but seemed fresher than other hotels.
Clean, comfortable hotel in the location we wanted with very helpful staff. They have excellent lockable cupboards for luggage on our last day (vacate room at 10am but train not til 5 pm).
Very delicious breakfast, and wifi is strong in room. Have a very good stay in the Judd Hotel and it is really worth. The location is quite good, not far from the Kings Cross Station.
It was very clean, the staff was very polite, the furniture, TV and bathroom equipment were nice. The location was great from the point of view of both convenience and atmosphere.
Staff were very friendly.
Staff were very helpful when asked questions.
Hotel was very clean and we had a very nice welcome from the receptionist when we arrived.
Thank you!.
I loved the location. The street was enchanting in the evening. Plenty
of places to eat right around the corner. Close to train and tube and
walking distance to many places.
Great Location.Good value for money.Ideal for a weekend break, especially if you want to spend your time visiting the city centre.easy to walk to most attractions from here. For us everything was positive, the staff was very friendly, the rooms very clean,a great breakfast, nearby the underground and Pancras station,we are going back to this hotel!.
Although it's a very small hotel, everything is nice and clean, especially the staffs. Location is good, close to both King's cross station and Russell Square Station.
Clean fresh and quiet room in excellent location near Russell Square. Friendly and efficient staff. Will probably make this my hotel of choice when visiting London.
Clean, comfy, good breakfast, useful location for Euston and Kings
Cross. Very helpful staff (I left two rings behind and they found them
and kept them safe for me).
Liked the quiet location but still near Kings Cross and Euston tube stations which made getting around easy. The room was comfortable and clean.Breakfast was good.
Great location to see sights. Near tube station with access to whole of London. Safe immediate area with great pubs and value for money restaurants. Good place.
Very clean bedroom and bathroom. Good reception staff. Nice breakfast. Lovely quiet location but within 5 mins walk of Euston and King's Cross St Pancras.
Staff were lovely and very helpful. Fantastic location. Minutes walk from Euston and Kings Cross stations. Very close to good pubs and restaurants.
Great location clean accomodations. Room and en-suite where small, but it worked. Good breakfast.
Quiet street with a nice little park out front.
Room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. If you can put up with the small room and no lift this is an excellent hotel for a city break.
The location was perfect close to everything we needed. Being in a quite location we were able to rest without the hussle and bustle of the city.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
We were able to drop off our bags before check in and leave them at hotel while we shopped after check out.
Good location for Kings Cross, and Picadilly line tube.Rooms small but clean, good temperature control system in room.Free Wifi with decent speed.
The hotel was well maintained and clean. My room on the third floor was comfortable and clean, if a little small. Ideal for an overnight stay.
The Judd is well placed between Euston, Kings Cross/St Pancras and Russell Sq stations. It was very friendly, good facilities, good breakfast.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. All of our concerns were addressed in a timely manner. Quiet area with good access to transportation.
I liked how it is situated very conveniently in the town centre. All the facilities r amazing.the room itself is very comfortable and relaxing.
The whole experience was as good as required and expected. The breakfast was good and plentiful and the overall value for money was high.
Really nice and quite location in Cartwright Garden so close to StPancras and King's Cross
stations. Small rooms but recently renewed.
Only complaint was room was directly over the generator, so loud low
frequency hums. However, Night manager did move us to another room at
3am, which was larger - so I guess room sizes do vary.
We requested a twin room. This we got on the ground floor (which was good) BUT the beds were 2' 6" ( not standard single size). NOT GOOD as we felt that we would fall off the bed!.
Why is it that budget hotels think they don't have to provide you with a comfortable bed? By the end of five nights I was done with feeling springs in my back. Sheets were clean but had a few old spots, so did the decorative pillow on the bed. The room seem to have a new coat of paint but there was a large crack on one wall. Internet worked but not well.
-people from central Europe might be not used to this scale: very small rooms (double bed room as small single one), narow corridors and staircase, intimate, cute
-mini breakfast room.
Our room didn't seem to have any heating, which was not brilliant in the middle of January. We did ask at reception and they claimed to have central heating, and the public areas of the hotel were warm, so it may have just been our room.
shower cubicle in single room was very small
no spare blanket.
The size of the shower in a single room as well as the size of the room. (Of course, you may not be able to change this.) I t would be difficult for the elderly to use this hotel due to the number of steps.
Breakfast is served in the basement - this is bright with a big skylight but cramped.
Room was up 3 flights of stairs & no lift ,wasn't a problem for us as we only stayed 1 night & wouldn't put me off staying again.Dining room in basement was very echoey think due to the dining chairs and bare walls sounds could not be absorbed. Breakfast was adequate though not a huge choice.
Don't stay in one of the upper rooms as the staircases are narrow and steep and there is no lift access to the upper floors.
Breakfast 7-9 on weekdays-would like to see this extended to 10.00am
Also choice of breakfast limited, could do with more variety!.
Breakfast times were a bit early as it got extremely busy 8-9.
Our double room was quite small, bed up against the wall with very little room to walk around.
Only down side was the lack of space in rooms.
Breakfast was taken in a basement area which although clean was extremely noisy from the clatter of table clearance. This was mainly due to the speed the kitchen staff had to work to make tables available for waiting guests.
For single room, the cubic shower is very small, my body knocked against the wall all the time, also bath room has no heating conditions,.
On weekdays, breakfast closes rather early at 9, better don't sleep late :-).
Quality of cooked breakfast was not up to standard (bacon over cooked). Great continental selection though.
Thought the room was a little on the small side but then again, you don't spend a lot of time in your room.
Stairs and corridors a bit scruffy.
Stairs to 3rd Floor quite steep.
Poorly positioned TV.
Small room on 3rd floor with the final flight of stairs narrow and steep. Single beds (as requested) were narrow and very mobile on non locking casters!
More choice, eg croissants, at breakfast would have been nice for those who dont want an English breakfast.
Climb up the staircase with heavy luggages.
It was I little noisy in my room (general noise from other parts of the hotel was quite audible).
Breakfast room very crowded - First morning was chaos with far too many people trying to get breakfasts -some took them back to the room as there was no where to sit. Staff struggled to keep up with hot food and queues built up around people trying to eat - those who had seats could not get to self service food area becuase of people awaiting breakfast and just standing in the way.
We went a lot earlier the next day and it was much calmer.
The stairs! Forgot that many places didn't have elevators.
I'm not in shape and it killed me going up 3 flights. Bed were a
bit small and hard. For us there wasn't anything negative!.
It's a refurbished hotel, as such the bath room is a bit of too small.
A little more choice at breakfast. For example scrambled eggs and brown toast. But it was quite adequate.
As there were no wardrobes or chests in the room a stay of longer than a couple of days would be a bit difficult.
No lift but not really an issue.
Room and bathroom very small.
Air con did not work and you could not control it.Stifling hot.
Stairs...
Room was a bit small for three adults and ditto for the shower stall.
Room was really small.
The twin room was a bit small.
Would have been good to all sit together for breakfast but we were warned it would be busy.
No bar in Hotel, breakfast limited choice,no fruit avail.(what avail was good quality).
No lift and the last flight of stairs up to the third floor is steep and uneven in parts - beware.
Can't think of anything we didn't like.
The rooms were very small and the beds not very comfortable.
I did not like the fact i could here through the walls and it is too expensive. Also i was left shoked when we found out there was a deposit fees when booking which was refundable but did scare me.the breakfast was a little disapointing as there were not many vegetarian options.
The room was a little compact but then again I am 6' 4" tall.
Very small hall and common places.
