No parking at the hotel, although NCP car park was 2 mins away but it was 40 pounds for 24hr

Staff were very professional and helpful. Very cool, sexy hotel with great design and a trendy vibe 2 mins walk from Liverpool Street Station. Only stayed one night but would happily go back! Toiletries lovely too.

Rooms are lovely with modern facilities

Bar prices are very high much cheaper to drink in the andaz round the corner who also have great rooms so therefore will proberly stay there again in future. Adding a service charge to drinks when you go to the bar yourself is a bit much on already expensive priced drinks

The stylish,candle-lit lounge area, perfect for relaxing with a drink. The luxurious, comfortable bedroom. The floor to ceiling black-out blind, operated from the bedside touch panel. The mini-bar with wide selection of goodies, even sunglasses. Lovely breakfast. Very friendly staff.

No tea-making facilities in room - a real miss first thing on waking and last thing at night when you don't want the bother of room-service. The bedside touch panel was super but too bright during the night.

Great modern design. Spacious room. Touch controls for room lightning. Hidden lights - sleep mode. Black marble bathroom with spacious bathtub! Hotel location is extremely close to Moorgate tube station (1 min walk) and very close to Liverpool Street Station (3 mins walk)

The staff were helpful and kind. The hotel is new, stylish and the rooms are very comfortable and modern (even if a little small). I recommend for who needs to stay in the area.

Take in consideration that this hotel is 30 minutes away from the place we (foreigners) know as London. No stores or anything around. Rooms are a bit too small.

We loved the gentlemen who came to collect our bags at the door, the friendliness of the reception staff. The room was fantastic lovely decor and tv etc, bathroom was heavenly with such a massive bath. The location to Liverppol street station. Basically everything.

For my Girlfriend and myself, I booked ourselves a night in the South Place hotel, A modern and very well rated London hotel. It was the best booking and decision I have made ever. We could not have received any better service, with a personalised card waiting for us in our suite. Every aspect a memory to be had, a lovely bed, bathroom and amenities to share over the weekend. With access to Le Chiffre came great fun, with a games room combined with record player for all round entertainment in the heart of the financial sector. We came out gobsmacked at the priceless service and attentiveness of our needs and wants. No request too much and nothing to fault. A definite return over the festive season is on the cards for us. Thank you so much for helping us enjoy our weekend away to point where it could be described only as perfect.

I loved the service and warm welcome and I loved the little touches in the room, like the remote controlled blind, coffee maker, umbrella if needed! Also we had someone knock on our door to give us a welcome drink which I thought was a very lovely touch!

The TV wouldn't turn off and we had to keep it on all night with the sound off'!

The room's design was amazing and the bed extremely comfortable. The bathroom and ambiance lighting are actual pieces of art and the hotel is remarkably well-placed in the City, just between Moorgate and Liverpool Street tube stations. The staff is very meticulous and attentive, the breakfast in the room is a delight. Overall, my impression was excellent and I strongly recommend this luxurious and friendly hotel.

Probably a bad luck but I have experienced an unusual fire alarm at 8am on a Sunday morning during my stay. Apparently, the fire detection system is shared between the rooms and the restaurant's kitchen. Actually disturbing to be suddenly awaken by an ear-splitting alarm and a red flash above the bed!

I pushed the boat out a little here but was delighted with my choice! Quiet location, very friendly staff, fabulous room with some swish 'mod cons', a bathroom to die for and a massive and hugely comfortable bed. We had a very special time in London and South Place was the perfect base for us.

For 5* (?) in central London, it has to be considered comparatively good value. But... the prices at the bar (and for breakfast) had us exiting to find more reasonable alternatives.

Room and bathroom was absolutely amazing and huge. The technology in the room gave a really modern feel to the hotel.

The staff and and guests alike looked down on us as we were a couple of students from Kent. We were made to feel very unwelcomed and we weren't even offered the full tour of the hotel. They also expected a £100 deposit from us without having alerted us beforehand. And as of writing this on Tuesday the 8th, we still haven't had the money back despite being told it would be back in the account just as quickly as it was snatched from us.

Very friendly, helpful and professional staff Gorgeous rooms with an awesome bathroom The whole place smells nice - literally everywhere Secret garden bar is amazeballs Roof terrace is also amazeballs Unlimited Prosecco refills for £10 with brunch Close to McDonalds for munchies once drunk on Prosecco. Not that we did that. At all. Big bed with a very comfy mattress and a solid sideboard at A... convenient height... ;)

The customer service was excellent, with the staff showing me to my room and giving me an overview of all of its features. When I left my passport there, they were extremely helpful and made sure that I got to the airport on time. It was excellent service and I will definitely be looking to stay at South Place Hotel if I'm ever in London again for work.

The location was way better then I expected. 2 subways station 3 min. nearby (Liverpool is one of them). Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet ( we had 2 rooms on the 6th floor-not big but not that small either).

More "kids"friendly food options at their restaurants.

The staff were very friendly & helpful! The barman made some very impressive cocktails too! Absolutely loved t bathroom esp the shower!! The bed was very comfortable too! Would def go back!

Was disappointed that we was unable to enjoy the roof terrace as there was a private function on the Saturday night and the bar on the 1st floor was shut. Also was there was stains on 1 of the bathrobe.

This hotel is excellent. No expense has been spared in everything from the design to the finishing touches. The staff our excellent and the concierge did his upmost in making us feel welcome. I would recommend this hotel very highly.
