The room was just what we needed; cosy, warm, clean with lovely furnishing, plus little thoughtful touches like homemade cookies and local maps to ponder over. Tea and cake on arrival in a beautiful kitchen. Stove was on and a they have a lovely little dog to pat! The whole family made us feel so welcome and gave us a great pub recommendation, The Bolton Inn at Redmire. The Reeth circular walk was another great recommendation.
