Lo que la gente dice
Excellent location if attending the secc which we were. 7 minutes
walking distance. Plenty of surrounding places to eat out. Breakfast was
good. Friendly staff. We were on the top floor with three flight of
stairs and no lift. But we were given an option of a lower floor room.
Free parking. Excellent service.Good for an overnight stay. We would use
again if attending secc. Overall good value budget room. todo comentarios »

Breakfast was delicious with a great choice and again staff were friendly and accomodating. Service was fast.
Check in and out very simple.
The room was great for the five of us, the breakfast was excellent,
having maps of the city on hand was very helpful, having the front desk
attended around the clock was great for security and convenient check in.
Great location near Kelvingrove Park, main bus route and lots of eating places. Very helpful friendly staff who were responsive to requests. Really nice breakfast (except the bread!). Very clean all areas.
Food was nice and the room was clean. The staff were helpful. I was there for a graduation ceremony and the hotel was within walking distance.I was able to park my car for the duration of my stay.
The staff are very friendly and gave excellent customer service. The rooms are good value for money (not paying for the Ritz after all are we!) and the breakfast was very good.
Staff very freidly and helpful also upgraded our room free of charge - private parking with cctv comfortable clean & good location in city centre - breakfast was nice :).

I was not quite sure about my booking initially seeing the rating but I was impressed by friendly staff, tasty breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms.
Basic room but clean and tidy. On street metered parking and great location. Staff very helpful, friendly. and efficient. great value for money.
The staff were great. 24 hour front desk is a blessing. Early morning wake up call - spot on time. Private car park. Excellent location.
Old building a little quirky which adds to its charm, staff excellent and very friendly, you couldn't be better looked after.

Close to town centre.
Very useful location.
Location and price.
Ease of location.
staff was good.
The location.
I liked it wasn't far from city centre and the hydro was loads of amenities in walking distance also would like to mention the waitress that had been in the building from 2 in the morning who had prepared the cooked breakfast service with a smile and food was presented very well.
While the hotel is old, it was clean and cared for. They were in fact doing some renovation work while we stayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not try the breakfast.
A good budget hotel. The room was clean but the decor a little tired. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice.
The price was great £70 for 5 people including breakfast and location to
secc not far only £8 in taxi.
staff were friendly and location from city was easily accesable by public transport.
It was clean
The entrance looks very appealing
Breakfast-great porridge!.
Good value for money, £80 for quad room one night breakfast included.
You get what you pay for. No complaints.
No dislikes at all.....
Position of TV high on bedroom wall made viewing uncomfortable unless standing up! White sliced bread!.
Very few parking spaces for the number of rooms, I did manage to get a space for my visit though.
For the price of the room i really couldnt find anything to complain about.
The decor was a bit jaded and in need of freshening up .The stair carpet was a bit threadbare . The climb to our third floor room.
Being on the top floor , a long climb after a good night out.
The single room was very small.
rooms could do with redecorating to enliven albeit it did not detract from the visit.
- Breakfast staff seemed rushed and didn't always bring what requested
- Requested to keep hotel key when left hotel.
a few stairs with no lift, but we were offered a help with our luggage.
Lack of extra pillows and no black-pudding on breakfast list.
Sausages. Scrambled eggs cooked too fast. Variable availability of brown bread (about 1 morning in 2). Rather tasteless coffee.
There was not anything I disliked.
No lifts but never mind.
Shower in the room was cold, but the communal shower was lovely.
No problems.
4th floor room, no lift!!! Bedspread made room look very dated. No shampoo in room.
everything was fine.
The access to hotel from the car park using back entrance is little bit "scary" and dirty.
Parkng can be a problem.
It took ages to find !.
Extremely complicated layout to the hotel.
Slight draughts coming through window.
a lot of stairs, no lift.
Room was a little to small for 3 friends, and 2 of us had to share a double bed, could do with more room with 3 beds in them..
Small rooms.
No full breakfast menu.
access to rear hotel car park was not good.
The stairs and the bed was a bit uncomfortable.
the shared bathroom wasn't very clean the toilet constantly smelled and the hotel receptionist on the morning of check out was very rude in her manner I would not stay at this hotel again even for a stop over.
It's was a cold march frosty day! There was no heating in the room
only. We had to ask for heater and all we got we little fan heater that
did not hear the room at all! The shower was dirty with mould all in the
shower. Breakfast is basic cereal & bacon or toast egg etc what can
you expect for £17 per room.
we stayed on the top floor but there was no elevator so it was a struggle carrying all luggage upstairs. rooms were very warm but an electric fan was supplied.
Toilet out of order nearest our room
Bed hard
A bit tired in style.
The traditional Scottish breakfast had nothing Scottish or traditional included, very disappointed.
