Lo que la gente dice
A truely lovely experience. The B&B is run by a fantastic couple who make you feel welcome, and really make an effort to make your stay the best possible. They are so nice and friendly you immediately feel part of the family. Their son is a top piper, who added an extra touch to our stay by playing and sharing his passion for the bagpipes with us - a moving and interesting evening. Proves to feoreigners that bagpipes DO sound great when played properly! We loved it here, the rooms are larg. todo comentarios »
Lovely setting overlooking the loch. Wifi from room was excellent. Chocolates on arrival. Shortbread and tea in room. Very nice bathroom. Roomy with heated floor. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the porridge and my own pot of hot chocolate. Short drive to Ben Nevis trailhead for hiking. Excellent location for running along loch, restaurants, shopping.
We enjoyed our stay at the observatory and recommend it to others without question. It is an easy walk into town as well as being on A82 for easy access to surrounding destinations. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed with a very good ensuite. Trevor and his staff run an excellent B&B.
From the moment we arrived we were met with a warm welcome, made to feel really comfortable. Beautiful room looking onto Loch Linnhe. Large bathroom. Both very spacious, clean and modern. Breakfast was delicious, a great selection for all tastes. Staff were fantastic!! We will be back.
We stayed in the new addition building. We had a beautiful loch view out our window. The bed was so comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent. The location was excellent to nearby restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance.
The room was amazing. Own entrance and glass doors, big room with a tv, big nice bathroom and the most amazing view ever. Very nice price for such a nice room! Was not expected at all, was super surprised. The staff was very nice. Very recommended!.
Great location, free parking, friendly people, good breakfast, clean, quiet, very, very nice bathroom - they even had hot and cold water from the same tap, and that isn't very common in Britain!
What more can you ask for, really?.
Friendly welcome. Well equipped and large, newly refurbished bathroom. Friendly service and a good cooked breakfast. The location by the side of the loch is wonderful and it's just a short walk to shops and restaurants.
Very comfortable room, nice views, close to town centre but quiet, very clean, excellent choice at breakfast, very friendly and welcoming owners. We stayed over Easter and had a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.
Great location just minutes from town centre. Stayed in the annexe next to main building, and the rooms were spotless. Bed was very comfortable. Great choice for breakfast. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
A very warm welcome. Very well appointed room very close to town centre.
Good local information provided. Very accommodating when I made a
booking error. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely revisit.
Great location in view of Ben Nevis and surrounding mountains. Close to Fort Williams shopping and restaurants. Owners were warm, friendly and caring. The bathroom in our room had a heated tile floor.
The Glentower Lower Observatory is an excellent place to stay ,welcoming ,relaxed, hospitable, clean, and the building itself is kept to an excellent standard .The oweners should be proud 5 star.
Easy walk to town yet great country view over Loch Lennie. Trevor was a
very friendly host. Very tasty full Scottish breakfast and friendly,
conscientious serving staff. Fantastic bathrooms.
A fantastic hotel in just the right location in Fort William. The rooms are spotlessly clean with all amenities we needed.
Breakfast is fantastic at this hotel and the staff really helpful.
The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Also the bathroom was very big. It is an easy walk into town and very accessible by car. We recommend it to others without question.
Absolutely superb, only a few minutes walk to the town centre of Fort William. The cleanliness was of an extremely high standard, delicious breakfast and such lovely, friendly staff.
Everything was great. The rooms were so comfy, spacious and most importantly clean. The main village was only a short walk, so going out to dinner was so easy.
Beautiful position on the side of the lake. Very comfortable accommodation. Trevor most helpful with regards to pointing out places of interest in the area.
We were in Fort William to visit an elderly relative .. but were able to make time to enjoy the mountains and wildlife of Glen Nevis.
the accomodation was superb and situated close to the town centre but not in it, the staff very helpful and the setting was spectacular.
Room was very spacious and clean, bathroom is very modern and nice big bath to chill out in, breakfast was good and staff very pleasant.
Just a great place to stay, Its a B&B by the way, not a hotel. Owners were lovely, breakfast great and accommodation excellent.
The location was amazing and the view from the room stunning.
The staff was very friendly except when the phoned for a lost item.
Great place to stay. Close to amenities without being too close. Lovely people running the place. Room was very comfortable.
Stay was excellent. Room very spacious and modern. Owners very friendly and interested in guests. Very central to amenities.
Glorious room with room looking over Loch Linnhe; easy walk to 'town'; quiet for sleeping; comfy bed; gorgeous breakfast.
Lovely views and friendly welcome! Sandwiches when we had to leave very
early in the morning. Very much appreciated.

Convenient location, building retaining its character, but rooms have been modernised to a high standard.
Breakfast was good and the B&B was within easy walking distance of the main shops in Fort William.

location people and value for money.
the staff they were great.
modern room and bathroom.
Friendly and helpful.
Location was excelent.
Everything.
carpets in all the rooms, but that's just the British style....
Would have preferred an earlier start to breakfast (8AM start is late for me) so I could get an earlier start on my Ben Nevis climb.
Nothing to note here.
There wasn't anything that required any comment.
The room and bathroom (closet size) were a little small. It may have been nice to stay in the observatory building.
Nothing. I liked everything.
I ended up in a building besides the main building, but that only meant more privacy - and I can still manage to walk 30 yards before breakfast...
The haggis!.
Nothing to dislike.
Nothing to report here.
Leaving.
Lack of sizable lounge area for guests.
Our room was in the new annex which is modern and comfortable. However the on suite is small and spoils what was an excellent experience.
Only stayed 2 nights, wanted to be there longer.
Nothing to report. It was such value for money. I'd recommend it to anyone.
There was nothing that we didn't like!.
nothing.
Only after we complained 3 days later that an original personalised Louis Vuitton bag was left there in one of the rooms it was when they decided to apply a charge for smoking in the room. Amazing that before it nothing was included in the bill.
Bed covers a wee bit too heavy for me.
fort william itself that is the town is needing a facelift! the seafront is lovely though.
Price, but unavoidable as had to book a family room for only 2 of us, as the only room left apart from a single!.
No faults found,or improvments required.
We did not stay in the buiding shown on the web site but one next door. I wanted to stay in an older/historical building so this was a dissapointment. They also charged us 5% to use our Visa card which was not indicated when booking.
Nothing.
could'nt fault it in any way.
the two chairs.
Breakfast was lovely but lacked colour, sounds daft but bacon and
sausages shouldn't be the colour they came from the butchers.
Limited parking.
Nothing.
