The Poldark Inn is situated at the highest point of the Treligga Downs in Cornwall and less than 2 miles from the coast. Set in a picturesque secluded location, the inn offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking. The Poldark’s accommodation consists of both guest bedrooms and self-catering apartments, all of which have either coastal or scenic countryside views and are equipped with a TV. Most rooms feature an en suite bathroom and the apartments include a kitchen and lounge area. The on-site bar features a good selection of beers and real ales and provides traditional English pub food. Guests can relax by watching live sports at the bar or by playing a game of pool on the 2 pool tables available. The inn is situated on the North Cornwall coastal path, offering scenic walks to the quiet Tregardock Beach, which is less than a mile away. Trebarwith Strand is just over 2 miles from the inn and offers a large sandy beach and many cliffs and natural caves.

Lovely countryside position over looking the small towns of Port Isaac and Tintagel as well as the Cornish coast line,, the staff were very friendly and most helpful,,a great place to stay if you want to explore the area from Bude to Newquay, also would be good as a location if you enjoy walking the hotel itself was very clean and on our recent stay the bathrooms had not long been refurbished,, the owners go out of their way to make you feel most welcome,, overall would recommend a stay here i.
todo comentarios » Staff were lovely and made sure we were comfortable. The place has just been done up and everything is nice and new and modern. Even though we had checked out at 11am, the staff let us come back to shower after surfing. This made a massive difference to our day and travel home. The breakfast was also nice. There was free WiFi and it had a couple of pool tables which kept us entertained whilst enjoying a pint at the end of the long day surfing. Large country inn, operated by a very friendy and helpful staff. We occupied a large bedroom with a large comfortable bed. Double aspect with good views. The en suit had been refurbished to a high standard.Stayed for four nights, lovely white towels changed after two without having to ask. Food good, prepared with quality ingredients. This was our second stay at this inn, would certainly be happy to return. This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in the owners and all staff were so friendly and could not do enough if you asked them. Very relaxed atmosphere and the apartment was very clean and full of everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay. We ate in the inn each night excellent home made food and good value for money . The breakfast was excellent to. Would stay here again when in area. This was a very basic inn but the staff were so friendly and helpful it was the perfect place for me to stay as travelling alone. The food was of good value as was the room, from which I had lovely views of the countryside and the sea. A great breakfast too!! Again lovely friendly staff made me so welcome and helped me sort my internet connection. I would definitely stay here again. Being South Africans we were unsure if the location was a bit remote but found that the Poldark Inn was ideally situated for exploring all the little villages in the area. A car is definitely needed but we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. It was also very nice to come back after a long day of exploring and have the facility of the pub for some good food and a drink. The location was good for many attractions and beaches. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good choice of food and drink and portions were a good size and tasty. We felt very welcome at The Poldark. The 2 bed annex was spacious, clean and would certainly consider returning again. Top marks!. A really great place to stay. Visited with my kids, grandparents and brother and sister in law in tow. Can't fault the staff or value for money. I highly recommend it as as good value location to explore all that the north coast has to offer. Breakfast is great and the evening meals are well priced pub grub. :-). Fresh clean friendly and obliging lovely location good parking excellent all around Breakfast was cooked well plenty of it set you up for the day, Host and Hostess and staff helpful and informative. Will be returning in the future. Lovely location summer winter spring or autumn. Highly recommend it. The room it was clean, quite large with an extra bit to provide lounge area, it had two big windows with spectacular views of countryside and beaches and they opened wide to let a lovely welcome through breeze and as it was very hot outside it was a wonderful relief to sit and relax. Friendly owners. The pub provides very clean and roomy accommodation with excellent views. The pub is good with a solid menu. For my taste the beer selection is poor but beer is individual. The staff are very friendly and this was evident in the way that the breakfast was served. Whatever one wants was available. The reception was friendly and the apartment was warm and clean. There was everything needed for my stay including all kitchen utensils, towels etc. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom had plenty of storage space.The warmth of the rooms was a big factor as the weather was still rather cool. Friendly helpful staff. Bright small bedroom 2nd floor so we were able to leave windows open all night as very hot, lovely breeze. Nice large bathroom. Plenty of car parking. Reasonably priced. all very clean - we would stay here again. Good location for a trip to Tintagel. The apartment was spotless and very big. This would be ideal for self catering for a few days too. The food was fabulous and large portions too. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this and would stay again if visiting Cornwall. We stayed in B&B and self catering and both rooms were very clean and comfortable - the B&B was immaculate. We ate at the Inn most evenings and the food is high quality pub fare at reasonable prices. The staff are warm and friendly. All staff were friendly. Good standard of breakfast and bar meals. We had a Superior Room which was a good size. The bathroom was recently refurbished. Generous amount of coffee and tea in the room. Adequate sized car park. Rang to say we'd be late, at Royal Cornwall Show, this was no problem, good welcome on arrival at 11.00pm. Wonderful new bathroom, shower workings explained to avoid frustrations! Good value B & B during duration of Show. Staff were so friendly and welcoming when we arrived even though they were in the middle of a pool tournament and very busy. Breakfast was a little greasy but adequate. Nothing to dislike. Can't really fault it!. Bit noisy when high winds prevail. On approaching Delabole in dark, saw small Poldark Inn sign with arrow to right turn, which we took, leading us incorrectly down to coast through narrow lanes. Retracing to check sign, in small writing says 'right turn after school', which is right through village - not helpful in the dark - told staff about this and it was not first comment about this! Better signage would be good!. Full size bath would have been nice!. All was great!!! Nothing that we wouldn't like. A little bit outside village,walking distance,but no footpaths. nothing. Bed was a little uncomfortable but was able to sleep on it. Absolutely nothing. small window for breakfast and not much choice, not many healthy food options on bar menu and food not served for long, also a little out of the way (for us that was ideal but its not for everyone). Coming home!. No reception area but staff always available. - Decor a bit dated!. Thin walls, could hear people in next room. Menu was limited, one special with boiled potatoes was very welcome. Nothing - it was a very enjoyable stay. No lift but that was no big problem. nothing. Bathroom had sloping roof which made showering awkward if your taller. nothing to dis-like. Small bathroom. The weather, whatever time of year I go it always rains :-(. nothing.
