Lo que la gente dice
Everything, it's an idyllic inn. The historic building and it's setting on the green were amazing. The staff were welcoming and charming. The food was fabulous and reason alone to stop. A good choice of wines. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the restaurant was busy with a friendly atmosphere and buzz.todo comentarios »
room was beautiful - bathroom was lovely - very comfortable - food was excellent - Hotel was quiet and peaceful - staff friendly.
We stayed overnight on our way to a wedding the room was spotless and the food amazing everything we needed and more.
Great location and lovely village. Friendly helpful staff, quick to serve or assist. Interesting historic building.
The overall stay was very nice and the whole booking process was simple
and straightforward.
Very helpful staff who bent over backwards to help.
The architecture and history of the hotel.
Dinning room.
The Room itself and the bathroom.
Nice Bar.
A very minor thing, but the white doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms all had fingers marks on them, they could do with a wipe, otherwise everything else was spotless.
TV very small and tucked into a corner which made it difficult to watch from a four poster bed!.
nothing to dislike.
The breakfast really was rather disappointing. It seemed as though very
little love had gone into it. Scramble eggs resembled shredded
overcooked omelette. Asked if the was black pudding but told there
wasn't any even though it was in a dish on the dinner menu. Bacon
salty and the sausage seemed somewhat bland and tasteless. A lovely
place but it sort of failed at the final hurdle. As we left, a lady was
in the bar complaining about the fish and chips she had bought the
night before.
For a five star inn, I would have expected more luxuries in the room.
A bit creaky, but that's only because of its age!.
Overpriced.
Room 20 Directly above a staff area - perhaps the kitchen. Lots of loud staff conversation permeated the room making for a noisy time up to midnight.
Hoovering the lounge during breakfast is not very considerate.
