The pretty, bustling fishing village of Boscastle is just a 10-minute stroll away. There are several local pubs serving traditional Cornish food and local ales, and there is also a small store and bakery in the village.

Almost everything. This is a perfect getaway destination, even travelling from other, more urban parts of the West Country. The coastline is rugged and romantic, and family friendly, sandy beaches are not far away. It is also excellent for walkers, being practically on the South West Coast Path. There is a likeable mix of ages - younger singles in groups, older singles, families with children - in the hostel. It benefits from having been completely refurbished after the 2004 flood. Location.
This is not so much a dislike as an observation, namely, that a car is hugely advantageous in this region, unless you are a cyclist. The local bus network is not bad for the nearer centres, but the onward longer distance routes are much less frequent, and Boscastle is far fropm a railway station.
Sharing room with other travellers with noises that woke us up in the middle of the night.
I have no critisums at all an excellent place.
The fact that letsbookhotel.com upped the price.
No bedside lights.
