El hotel está a unos 5 min andando (en subida) de la calle principal por donde pasa el tranvía. Haciendo la reserva en Booking me pusieron un suttle (transporte al aeropuerto incluido) y si dicen que no al principio hay que insistir. El baño turco está bien pero es más auténtico ir a los públicos, además de más barato. - Es un hotel muy bien situad

A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

The appartment is located in an old house near the Galata tower. Numerous small restaurants, galleries, and shops are in the neighbourhood. After climbing to the fifth floor (no elevator) a marvelous view on Bosporus and Golden Horn can be enjoyed. The appartment is freshly renovated; furniture and equipment is brand-new (the door to the kitchen balcony, however, needs to be replaced as it leaks during rain showers....) and was cleaned carefully several times during our stay. Hospitality , since my arrival wellcoming spirit with everyone , every
one wants to help . I also noticed a precsion in everything I asked for.
Before leaving the hotel , I was planned to have a taxi pick up at 4:45
in the morning . at 3:30 am ,safe box in my room failed to open with all
my valuables inside (passport , air ticket , money..) I picked up the
phone and asked for help , a few minutes later a smily guest service
personell came over and open it for me . I expected to have some delay

From the moment we arrived the time we spent in this hotel was wonderful. The staff were extremely attentive, room was excellent, food was good. which I liked. Only the sould of the mosque to stir me - which I
personally lov - it`s an exciting experience . the hotel, in spite of being small , it was very organized , very clean , staff are so helpful and i think that the fees are fair enough .
another point that i would like to clarify that my booking was for an ordinary room but when i reach the hotel they told me that i will stay in a luxe room coz my room was in use ! this is an experience that i recommend to everyone who intend to travel to istanbul.
