Lotus Hotel is good balance between price and service . My room was very clean and comfortable with large bed . There were refrigerator and safety deposit box , but I didn’t use it . For me more important 2 free small bottles of water in room . Bathroom equipped with all the necessary . Room was cleaning every day . Very good Wi-Fi in room ( in room one wi-fi name in lobby another ) . Breakfast is continental tomatoes, cheese, olives , feta and coffee ( coffe free all day ) and very delicio.
todo comentarios » This hotel very good for peoples who want to see real face of Istanbul with old, racy and traditional streets. Very near you can find many historical monuments like Gul Camii (old church), Bulgar church, Rome Ortodox patriarchate, Fatih Camii etc. etc. Very good location! You can walk to Sirkeci station and Sultan Ahmet square within 15 minutes or you can take opposite direction and in 30 minutes by walk you can visit very holy place for turkish people - Eyyup Sultan square and from here you ca. Great service from all the staff especially the owner, Vural. The room was clean and spacious and it was wonderful coming back to a hot shower after a long day of walking. Breakfast was basic but fulling and there was transportation within 5 mins walk. Although the hotel is in the more residential part of the town the people were ever so friendly and would go out of their way to help. There is a hamman opening up in the next month or so and a wonderful restaurant which serves ottoman cusine. It's a small hotel like a home for families. The owner operator Mr. Vural is an excellent guy. He is very helpful, cooperative and a valuable guide for visitors. Very hardworking honest and sincere person. I would like to stay there next time as well. And that too because of Vural in addition to other things.It is a comparatively new built-up with neat and clean furniture bedding and all other utilities. They meet all your requests with a smile. Very convenient location two minutes walk from th. Words cannot express the deepest gratitude I have for the people working at Lotus, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everyone has been extremely welcoming and helpful, the hotel's conditions as well as facilities were good - the room was clean and tidy. We came early in the morning and they let us check-in earlier than the time pre-arranged. Also, our flight back home waslate at night and they let us stay in the hotel until we wanted. They were so accommodating and flexible! I highly reco. We were 3 girls travelling alone but we felt safe in the neighbourhood. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and always clean.The breakfast was a bit simple but not bad. The neighbourhood friendly and near to Taksim square and Sultanahmet. The staff offered us free coffee and tea all return to the hotel. We got a city map on first day and the owner showed for us all bus and subway travel options and famous sights. So many thanks to the Lotus owners, we are. Room good size and very clean, in the room a wardrobe with clothes hangers, fridge and free bottles of water, safety deposit box in the room, good heating (December), bathroom with full size shower cabin and excellent new fixtures, hot shower, very good wi-fi, excellent breakfast, overall hotel cleanness, proprietor very helpful, quite good location 45 min easy walk to historical city and 15 min to modern shopping district. Great budget hotel. For me as Muslim Lotus hotel was great. I didn't had to walk very far for Masjid.Value for money. Staff was very friendly helpful and trustworthy. Friendly neighbourhood with easy access to all your needs. Bus stand was walking distance taxis service easily available. Pick up and Drop off from Airport available at all time. I would definitely recommend Lotus hotel to others and book my self again. Me and my friends left Lotus :). I love that it was slightly out of the city centre and so it was a lot cheaper locally and the locals where unbelievably friendly and I loved it so much. The staff were brilliant and the beds were so comfy and clean. There are some great restaurants nearby serving some delicious food, at great prices. The hotel's owner is very friendly as he never hesitated in help us to find the turistic places and was always waiting for us at the end of the day with a delicious turkish or american coffee. Many thanks to the owner who help us a lot during our visit.Clean and comfortable rooms.Great valu for money if you don't 'plan to spend much time at hotel .Two bus stations near the hotel that provide you good conections with Sultanahmet and Taxim square. I stayed here over 4 weeks and found the service very good and consistent, the staff were very helpful and polite and go out of there way to help in any way they can. . Three stops from Eminonu, from which you can go everywhere by metro, bus or ferryboat. Always free coffee, water and tee. Air-conditioned rooms. Very helpful staff. the staf was very good and friendlly the hotel is in a good place,near galata tower and so many other historic places.and it was very cheeap. The Location of the Lotus hotel is very ideal, its in the center and only half hour can reach blue mosque ( Sultan Ahmed area is near). Having the same breakfast everyday for over 4 weeks. L'hotel è vicino ad un minareto per cui la notte potreste essere svegliati dal muezzin, ma sopportabile. Nothing. Hard to find. Level of cleanliness. It was okay for me, but for people who are picky, they might find it bothersome. not so close to shopping as we thought. no handles to stairs yet. not so friendly for elderly people. Room was not cleaned every day and towels were not changed.We reserved a room for 3 person,but for my opinion room is not enough large. Not very organised staff,.
