Our stay at G Hotel Goldenes was great. We originally booked only one night, however when we arrived in our bedroom, we decided to cancel our next hotel to stay in G Hotel Goldenes. The reasons are the following: Staff (Stefan G) was very helpful and friendly, the bedroom was lovely and very clean; we also had the nice surprise to have a bathroom in the room and it was very central!!! Loved it!

Please inform customers that the hotel is not reachable by car: we spend an hour driving aroung in Zurich to finally find out that it was a pedestrian way! The second down side is car parking as Zurich is very expensive but this is nothing to do with the hotel.

Good location, room was very clean, good value, could see the old city street from the room window. We were satisfied with this hotel !

The Hotel is in the center of the old town.. Excellent, many life, but not too loud.

It was kind of weird that we had to pay 30 Franks more than the price we got on Booking.com . We were in a hurry and did not have time to argue with the receptionist about it.

The hotel is quite central and there are good restaurants and bars around the Hotel. The rooms are clean and have good furniture. Although there is no toilette in the rooms (just a shower), the toilettes at the corridor are quite clean.

The hotel staff did accommodate our wishes and were quite helpful with our queries. The hotel was in a very convenient location but could be quite noisy at night, since it's in the area where bars, pubs and restaurants are mostly found. We requested and got a room on the highest level, and were as such not really affected.The room was clean as was the toilet we shared with others on the same floor
