  Very thoughtful, helpful hostess. Excellent base for excursions in upper Ticino. Lovely, interesting gardens and clean, comfortable apartment. Ample, delightful breakfast. - The two signore were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was simple but comfortable. The village of Giornico has some charm and interesting buildings.

  Brilliant location, not far from the main route south of the Gottard tunnel. The family run business gave us a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the landlady. We booked the family apartment which was spacious and comfortable and the views on a clear day would be stunning. All in all whatever your interests whether an overnight stop or a base for a - The accommodation was fantastic, it was like being in an eagle's nest on the top of a mountain! We loved sitting on the balcony and feasting on the views. The air was so clear and pure, we felt we could drink that too! Our hostess was a lovely lady, and spoke some English. Her breakfast was typical Swiss and a new experience for us. We wished we could have had a week here, not just two nights. It was hard to leave.
