We stayed at the hotel in order to visit Zermatt. This is the last place where you can get your car. Parking is free, which is an important issue in the calculation of vacation. Stayed for 2 nights and used as a base to explore Zermatt and the matterhorn glacier trail, glacier paradise and gornergrat. It is a short walk between hotel and the regular zermatt shuttle train. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere in the bar/restaurant. Very good breakfast. Nice room. Good facilities. Really enjoyed out short stay here. Even let us keep our car on the premises for the full day of check out at no cost.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Nice location very close to Alpentherme
and Torrent cable car. The room was spacious and clean. Didn't have
the balcony because of the late booking, but anyway great views from
sparkling clean windows. Breakfast ok. Next door is Waldhouse hotel,
make sure you try their steak tartar with Memo assamblage wine. -

We loved everything about this hotel - from its location, quietness of the area and beautiful landscapes, to the clean, comfortable room, good breakfast and gourmet kitchen. The manager is as friendly and enthusiastic as she appears in the
hotel's web site. She made great suggestions and handled everything
perfectly. The hotel's situation hanging over the edge of the wild,
tree-filled Rhone gorge, with the sound of the rushing water just
outside, is beautiful. The bathroom was nicely remodeled.
