I staid in IBIS Hotel for 2 weeks. All this time I felt that I am at home. Very nice staff, nice food, service is fine. I would really recommend this Hotel for short or for long stay. -

Friendly helpful staff. If you want to go up to Matterhorn Glacier
Paradise without the ice palace you can buy a ticket at the hotel for 70
chf instead of 99 chf. The room was large and had a lovely view over the
village to the mountains. There was a fridge that we used on the room.
Breakfast was good and set us up for the day. There was lots of free
parking. The Internet signal was strong in the room.

We liked everything at this hotel, fabulous welcome and staff, excellent cuisine, they went out of their way to assist us with a sick child, lent us a bike and a backpack, really felt we were at one of our family's house.
By the way, i think a lot of 5-stars hotel have to take a training from the managers running this hotel, by far one of the best experiences we had on holiday.
The location was a better fit for us than Tasch and Zermatt because we were close to the main road yet without the c

Staff was very friendly and attentive staff. The dinner service was excellent. I ate with my two hiking companions in the downstairs dining room which we had all to ourselves as there was a large party going on upstairs. The staff was very attentive and it was a wonderful meal.

This is a lovely old hotel, with a lot of charm, and a beautiful location. There is an exhibit on the history of the hotel, dating back to the 1860's, which is very interesting and put our stay in context. The staff was very welcoming, and spoke English well.
