What do you need when going to Switzerland? Lakes, mountains, green fields, kind and helpful owners? If you're looking for this, then this house is for you!!! La ubicacion del hotel es sencillamente espectacular. Merece la pena sin duda pagar un poco mas por la habitacion con vistas al lago. En Brunnen no hay gran cosa que hacer excepto dar paseos y contemplar el espectaculo de las montañas, nevadas en invierno, reflejadas en el lago y la combinacion de éstas con las nubes, la bruma y el sol de la tarde.

The hotel staff was very helpful, they picked us from the train station and gave us rides to town on a few days. They also organized the stay for our 1yr old daughter well with baby cot in the room and baby chair always waiting at our table. View from the hotel is fantastic. -

Hotel Edelweiss was fantastic. We were met at the train station by Suzanne, owner, and taken to the hotel. All the staff were friendly and very happy people. Peter, owner, Monika & Tanja were always willing to help and always ready for a chat. Peter introduced us to the town and welcomed us personally to the hotel with free pre-dinner drin

If in Engelberg, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It's not only for the warmth shown by the owners (Kuhn family), its a kids friendly hotel. It is less than 10 mins walk from the station, but with luggage it is not possible to walk (steep roads).... the staff is ever ready to escort to / from the station in their vans (they just need to be informed). A nice view from the balconies + the church bell sound every hour, gives a superb feeling............

The staff were friendly, the hotel was lovely and quiet and the views, well what can I say, breathtaking. As a female, business traveller, this hotel gave me a warm, comfortable feeling, as did the staff. I will definately return. A rare find. - Staff fab, breakfast great, view stunning.

180 degrees view. Also the views on the mountains (I.E. Rigi,
Stanserhorn) is beautifull. Hotel has sun in the morning until sunset!

The hotel has an amazing view on the lake, it's probably one of the best view points in Vitznau.
The staff was very friendly! Particular thanks to the receptionist from Berlin (he's excellent example of a customer service)! I will definitely come back and will recommend this place to my friends.
