Hotel Garni du Lac is superbly situated near the train, cablecar, & boat terminals, staff and service are excellent, and everything is very comfortable. Outstanding few days holiday.

Excellent location which would be extremely difficult to beat. Even staying in the old town (Citta Vecchia) of Locarno is not as convenient as Hotel Rio Garni.

Great location, directly at the lake. We could walk everywhere,
trainstation was close. The lake view from the balcony was great. Good
breakfast, with many choices of bread, croissants, yoghurt... The pool
