  Unlike many visitors who write reviews for the Abisko Mountain Lodge, we visited in mid-summer, not during the winter, when many people go to see the Northern lights. The hosts are wonderfully gracious, and the dinners are artfully presented and truly delicious. The scenery--the lake and mountains and pools and streams and waterfalls--is absolutely sp - Direct access to Abisko NP, just go up the path behind the lodge and after 10 minutes you are in the middle of nature. Tip for an easy sight seeing day: take the chairlift up the mountain (2km further) and walk the river canyon afterwards. Excellent restaurant.

  everything is good except the price is a little bit expensive. anyway, we are satisfied there, and saw the northern light by the lake just to the south of the hotel! - Reception staff was more than helpful, excellent breakfast and evening meal.

  MUY CERCA DE LA ESTACION DEL TREN. LIMPIO. TRANQUILO. - I liked the warm welcome, the light swedish admosphere, the clean rooms with nice beds and the very good breakfast. East level had its own sitting area. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpfull. The icehotel is only 15 km from kiruna and a must see.
