This was a gorgeous glamorous hotel and myself and my boyfriend really
enjoyed our stay. I had emailed the hotel before to tell them it was a
special occasion and they were nice and helpful and put us in a lovely
room with a wonderful view of the water and Stockholm city hall! Very
clean! Bathroom was nice. Lovely room with big comfy bed, great tv and
lighting. Friendly staff and very helpful! Ordered extra coffee to the
room etc! Delicious breakfast with so much choice!.... Huge selection of

I liked the perfect location in the heart of Stockholm. Because some areas are shared a connection, even if brief happens easily, with other guests which is quite nice. Generosity: free coffee, tea and pasta (you cook it yourself). Computer for Internet and cityguidance. You have a fully equipped kitchen you can use. Very easy to come and go since

Location is amazing, in the middle of the Gamla Stan. Nobel Museum and Storakyrkan are both across the street. I spent my first four nights in Stockholm in Sodermalm, paying more for a bed in a four-bed room than I did for a bed in a nine-bed room in Gamla Stan.

I appreciated verything ! I didn't try the shared bathroom but only
the toilets since I slept my two first nights (3 nights in total) in a
double-bed room, but absolutely everything was wonderful :
- comfortable quite big beds with strong woody frames (no noise)
- easy key system with card or magnetic "plastic coin"
- big case for valuable belongi

The kitchen is a very nice addition to the stay at Skanstulls. Since
food is so expensive in Stockholm, the kitchen gives a nice break to buy
food and cook it. There are 2 grocery stores across the street too,
In the hostel is a lot of tourist info which was really nice.
I had a late check in that I forgot to mention and I almost wasn't able to get into the hostel. I caught the staff member at the last minute as she was leaving and she was so kind about my mistake. She was a very helpful girl
