This is a 3 star hotel with a 5 star setting. Yes the rooms are basic and in need of a refurb but that is reflected in the bargain price and with views like this you won't be spending much time in doors. If you like a hot drink in your room though you will need to bring your own kettle.

I was impressed by the organisation of the team of cleaners who were friendly & worked hard cleaning just about everything from sand on beach to showers & chairs & railings & fences as well as rooms & obvious areas.
The staff on the reception were always friendly & helpful.
But most of all the Team of young entertainers . Dave & his team were amazing - always friendly to parents but fantastic with the children . They were never too busy for anyone "kids or adults" .

Very clean nicely maintained gardens and communal areas. We had apartment on third floor overlooking sea, very spacious with a good range of kitchen equipment and huge balcony. We have stayed in Cala D'Or Playa from 20 to 27th June. The location, facilities, cleanliness, staff are absolutely brilliant. We had a half board basis, food was delicious, good selection for breakfast, evening meals were amazing - huge variety each night, everything always fresh and hot. Entertainment team is great as well, there's plenty of things to do for the kids, different show every evening.
