Fantastic peaceful location tucked away in the foothills.
A great get away from it all holiday destination. Rooms are really lovely. The only comment I would make is that the location wouldn't be suited to those less able to walk due the rustic nature of paths. Fantastic food. Will go back again without doubt.

Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. Hotel is about 8 or 9 years old but looks brand new. Great pools (one for young children, one for adults). Great location in Puerto de Soller (but if your main interest is to go to beaches, I would recommend other locations like Cala D'or or Alcudia). Lovely clean hotel with helpfull staff, breakfast was great especially squeezing your own orange juice. Had a room facing the mountains, although not sea view the mountain view was great, really refreshing. The balcony was large so drinks in the evening was relaxing. Staff were great and very accommadating booking restaurants etc specially for the surrounding areas.
One street away from the beach and in a fairly quiet location.

We were very pleased with this hotel. It was clean , well ran , friendly and one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The food was excellent and plenty of variety. The rooms were cleaned daily. Clean towels when needed. The hotel was not in a noisy location which was nice late evening if you want to enjoy an early night .

All the staff has been amazingly pleasant and making you feel welcome. The hotel is very well equipped and modern, as are the rooms. The food at breakfast and dinner is delicious with a large choice in a buffet style. Overall fantastic place!
