Excellent excellent value! The Cuban man running the place is very friendly and helpful, interesting to talk to in general if you can speak some Spanish. In a great location with lots of bars, tapas shops, short walk to all the major attractions. Simple, but very very clean and neat. Would highly recommend fir a young couple or any budget travelle

Not a bad room for the price. Stayed in two rooms: for three and for four persons.
Room for three persons has no free space at all, but there is refrigerator.
Two separate toilets.
Room for four persons has more free space and there two bunk beds.

Location superb - pedestrianised shopping strip right outside your door. Very safe area. Extremely helpful staff-thanks Mary and George for a great and comfortable stay. Rooms are bright, decently sized and everything works unlike some 4 star hotels I've stayed at. Fast Wi fi connection. Would definitely stay here again. -

Nos gusto mucho, la habitacion era bastante grande y comoda. Todo muy limpio. Y el recepcionista es una persona muy agradable y atento estaba a cualquier cosa que necesitabamos ( toallas, ayudarnos con las maletas...).

Location is just perfect, in the center, so you don't waste time, you can see many interesting places walking by feet.
There are many places around to eat and to do shopping as well.
It's clean and safe there.
You have a little kitchen and everything what you need for cooking.

Great location near Gran Via metro station on the nice shopping street. Elevator to 4th floor. Rooms have windows for inner court, so it's quiet to sleep. You will have own keys for the building and for your room, so it's safe. The single room with shower is really nice and cosy, with air condition, sink, good mirrow, a kettle to boil water for tea etc. Also the bed was comfortable. It was my second time I stayed here and I was perfectly happy with everything.

The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!
