  Very close to the airport - walk 15 minutes to Terminal 2. Also 15 minute walk to Barajas Metro station (the stop between T4 and T1-2-3) which would save the Metro airport surcharge. We felt very safe walking in the neighborhood, found several restaurant/cafe/bars open late in the night, and were satisfied with the quality of the room we recieved. We have a problem with taxi services in Madrid because they don't want to take you to barajas because is near, and we took the Metro and walk to the hotel with several baggages, but no problem at all. One of the nicest short stays we recall. Just a few minutes walk to the town square, where we ate in the evening, made some baby item purchases, on our arrival. - If you are stopping over in Madrid, this is the place to stay. A brilliant place in what is a quaint, quiet little village, but literally 15 minutes to your terminal for flights. You are picked up in a mini bus, and dropped back in time for your flight. Efficient, clean, and well appointed. One of the few places we found that had a fridge. Considering how close you are to the airport it is very quiet. Having double glazing ensures a quiet location.
