The view from the pool deck was just fabulous. Sugarbird was cosy but I would imagine nice in the heat of summer too. The fire place was lovely as was the open communal area. I loved the inner courtyard and interior design of the refurbished house, very nicely done. Beautiful scenery, great location and nice and quiet. -

After a day on the road coming to the "Vineyard" is like paradise. We were upgraded to the garden suite at no further cost and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Outstanding. Theresa and Coete are utterly charming hosts: they gave me
medicine and helped nurse me when I had sunstroke, gave my wife a
blanket to keep her warm at the rugby and lent us their gps to get
there. Beautiful accommodation, really comfy bed and option to dine on
site. More like staying with friends than a B&B.

Beautifully appointed, quiet, wonderfully helpful staff, lovely rooms, all comforts available. Situated in university town of Stellenbosch in quiet road. Loved everything from the location to the accommodation to the friendliness of the staff. The best and my favorite was the wine tasting. Totally enjoyed my stay there and will definitely go there again. -

We had an upstairs loft type room, it was very cute, lovely free standing bath, also had shower, quiet location yet mins to university. Walking distance to town.
Great breakfasts, clean, parking, info on activities around Stellenbosch.

We booked very short notice. Still this was no problem.
Amazing breakfast.
Very nice and comfortable rooms.
Very nice staff, Hardy knows all the nice winehouses to go to for winetastings.
Furthermore they also know a lot about the country in general and have good tips on places to go and see.

What's not to like?
The hotel is in the one of the most beautiful spots you've ever seen - surrounded by mountains on every side.
Even though it was freezing at night, the room was nice and cosy and warm.
Comfortable bed, huge spa-bath, extremely well-priced accommodation - oh and for breakfast we had the best bacon I've ever had.
