The view from the pool deck was just fabulous. Sugarbird was cosy but I would imagine nice in the heat of summer too. The fire place was lovely as was the open communal area. I loved the inner courtyard and interior design of the refurbished house, very nicely done. Beautiful scenery, great location and nice and quiet. -

Very warm welcome from Venessa; she was a good host interested in her guests and very helpful.

Even though we only stayed one night and arrived very late, we were made to feel very welcome.

The owners, Lisa and Jeroen, were great hosts, friendly, helpful and informative. The suite we stayed in was lovely, with it's own veranda overlooking the garden, and the location of the guest house is very leafy, pleasant and quiet. The whole property is beautifully presented and we'd be very glad to come back. -

The location of the Azure House is beautiful and the view from the room was breath taking.
My wife and daughter loved the rooms and the decorating which was "shabby chic".
The breakfast was wonderful and it was served on the deck overlooking the bay and headlands of Knysna so the back drop was over the top. -

My husband and I have enjoyed the two days. We had the room number 6 and an indescribable view of the sea. The hospitality and flexibility of Gail was just great and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. And we were able to watch whales in De Kelders - afterall a successful trip from Cape Town to Hermanus.

We really love everything about Augusta Bay Guest House - the location, the staff / services, comfort, cleanliness. A lovely clean, spacious, luxurious guest house, with very comfortable rooms. The bathroom and shower were exceptionally good for getting in and out of with mobility problems.
Staff were most welcoming when we arrived and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfasts were excellent.
The location at the Heads is absolutely superb with an excellent restaurant only yards away.

The hotel is located just outside Gansbaai, you can walk towards the beach where you can actually see wales from the shore. Our host was very generous in aranging shark cage diving at the last second which was a great experience. The in house booking office was a huge bonus. And the location was magnificent. The Roundhouse is a great bed & breakfast with everything to offer and more.
