We were made to feel welcome from the start. The guest house was very much a 'boutique hotel' rooms were designed with a lot of thought, beautiful views of the bay & hills from the picture window.

We were welcomed with a traditional South African braii - barbecue! How much better can you get to meet everyone and get comfortable with the Cape Town groove?! We loved the staff - from the owner to the housekeepers - they really took good care of us while allowing us to still enjoy the "backpacker-style" of lodging. They helped us plan our days to use our time and $$ so we could get to do all the things we hoped to enjoy in our 5 nights stay. The Dave Matthews Band concert brought us 8,000

First of all, the owner (Elma) was one of the nicest we've met in
our trip to south africa ! Other than that, you'll get great and
fully equipped apartment with all the things you need. The apartment was
very clean, and it's located in a safe and quiet location which is
easy to find and just few minutes drive from the center of Hermanus. -
Very nice place! Perfect for one or two nights stay. Very cheap for the location and room. 5 mins drive from town. Big spacious rooms and fully equipt with the necessary things for a self catering location. The lady in charge was incredibly friendly and helpful (e.g. when she recommended our breakfast place) and the place was very clean.

We loved this impeccable 2 years old guest house in this lovely and historic town. It offers excellent value and is beautifully appointed by the owners Clive and Jeanne Garlick. Breakfast was delicious. The ten minute walk from the main street was a great way to work off the lovely food available in Franschhoek's restaurants and it also meant that it was really peaceful away from the through traffic.
