What a quaint and pretty B&B. The 2 ladies who run this guesthouse were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The position of this B&B overlooking the lagoon is beautiful with many places to eat and drink just 10 minutes walk away. An excellent place to stay when travelling the garden route. We found the rooms very spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was superb and the view over the gardens and lagoon from the breakfast room was sublime. Joe was very hospitable and friendly whilst the 20 minute walk to the waterfront was pleasant and safe. A great base if you are planning to stay a while in Knysna with easy access and lots of off-street parking

Due to a unforseen circumstances we had to change our holiday plans very last-minute. We booked Vrede and arrived only hours later. We couldn't have picked a better place! The appartment is, as the name says, Deluxe, the view is spectacular and Maggie and her team are nothing but very very kind, helpfull and understanding. Despite our circumstances, Vrede 62 made the best of our week. Thanks again Maggie & William!

The owner, Naomi, is really helpful. She arranged the shark and whale tours for us, had our laundry done and she gave us tips about where to go.
Breakfast is outstanding and always more than you could finish. She also provides wine and beer free of charge and the chocolate bowls on the bar and in your rooms are always filled.
Also the location is perfect! The shark and whale diving companies are just around the corner!
