  Manaar House is definitely one of the best places to stay in Durban/Umhlanga. We stayed there for three nights in the self Catering Apartment. The a/c duplex unit was extremely spacious, spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and well maintained. But the best thing to report was the warm, generous and very welcomi - As a couple with young kids, it was an absolute dream staying at Manaar House as it was so kid friendly that our kids did not want to go out because of the toys provided in our section of the house!   I loved the friendly and warm welcome of the staff,i loved the fact that it catered for children as well,my partner felt @home when he heard they was gym as he is much a sport person.   We enjoyed our stay immensly. The view is breath taking, the resort caters for all your needs and there is really no need to venture out except if you want too. There is a myriad of activities, catering for all preferences. The staff is helpful and friendly, the catering and variety of options excellent. The breakfast was devine. The staff were excellent- very friendly. The resort facilities are very unique especially the hydro pool which we seen but did not have time to use because of our short stay. But the facilities and the welcome was excellent.

  This is a very upmarket and charming B & B. Very close to the airport. The staff members were very friendly and professional. The rooms are very comfortable and well looked after. - Very nice place well appointed with high class finishes, The place was very clean and quiet and a pleasure to stay at.

  A big comfortable bed, friendly and very helpfull staff. Secure parking. Cleaning staff did an excelent job. Very business friendly when I needed to attend to some emails, they had the facality for me to do so at no extra cost. I felt home. Booking in and out was very quick with no hassels.   The grounds were beautifully kept. Staff very friendly and helpful. Value for money. Great breakfast. I enjoyed my short stay. - It was very close to where I needed to be. For work and for only 1 or 2 nights it was perfect.

  For an overnight this was a good choice; our arrival was late afternoon into Durban and we were nervous about driving in the dark. It quickly falls dark around 18.00, apparently year round. Quiet,clean & comfortable with plenty of hot water & good helpful staff.   Stayed at the Beachcomber Bay Guesthouse for 2 weeks. We could not have been treated better, staff were fantastic, breakfast was superb, the setting and magnificent view you wake up to each morning is breathtaking.
