The owners Rod and Magda are gracious and welcoming. The rooms and the grounds are well maintained and clean and nicely appointed.
The view is beautiful & everyone including Diesel the Lab makes you feel at home and comfortable.
If you have the opportunity enjoy the evening dinner the food is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed.

We stayed in one of the self-catering Bush Cabins and this was exactly what we wanted. Back to basics, with your own ‘braai’, outside kitchen, shower and toilet. Great hillside views, romantic evenings under the moon and stars. Great accommodation and very friendly and helpful staff. Good location to stay for your daytrips and game-drives to Addo Elephant Park.

We were warmly welcomed by a member of staff who proceeded to give us a comprehensive tour of the guesthouse. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and the food, especially the dinner and the homemade bread served at both dinner and breakfast, was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately we only stayed one night. It is great value for money. The location is perfect, the staff is brilliant and our room was beautifull. Will definitely visit again. -

Warm welcome. Customer service was exceptionally good - nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were extremely comfortable with great sea views and well-equipped. A home from home. -

The staff at the Fernery were so friendly and helpful. The attention to detail and care that went into the evening meal (a prepared barbeque) was amazing and we felt really spoiled. I'd highly recommend the Fernery but would suggest a stay longer than we had (only one night unfortunately) as there is so much to experience. It's a bit pricey but

My wife and i stayed in a B&B Chalet for 3 magnificent nights. This place is off the charts with total freedom & tranquility - only wish it would never have ended.
We will return to this beautifull haven in the near future ..........
