This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. Spaciousness and layout of the room - Although the hotel was old (and currently being renovated) it was clean and comfortable, nothing particularly distressing. Breakfast was good, though it's debatable whether it's worth the R130 you can save if you choose not to have it.

Great location, great staff. This hotel is owner operated and family run. After one day, we felt like we were part of the owners family. Best concierge services I have ever experienced. The owner, Ursula, made reservations, oredered taxis, arranged tours and looked after us. The room was spacious and felt like an apartment. I could not recommend this place more highly

We were allocated a ground floor room which I was not too happy with,
after mentioning it to Nobu at reception she went out of her way to
arrange another room and get it ready for us. She was very polite and

The staff were great, just couldn't do enough for you and the hotel
itself is a great mix of the old original house and newly built annex
with lots of facilities, including a bar, jaccuzzi (if the weather
allows), good size pool etc.Breakfast is also of a high standard with an
excellent continental selection as well as choice of hot options. The
breakfast room is a lovely location with comfortable chairs and soothing
background music being played, all getting the day off to a great start.
