I like the location near Wits univ. The garden with the sculptors is beautiful and it is nice to sit on the deck for something to eat and drink. The history of the hotel is very interesting. - Comfortable and clean rooms. Good Breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived late long after the office staff had gone home.
The rooms are designed for self catering, very modern and rather chic. Its walking distance to local eateries so you don't need to drive. Its not too far from Johannesburg centre meaning evening events are accessible with no need to drive down

Guiet, ellegant, clean, neat, high standard house keeping, every equipment in working condition and of great quality. Warm welcome by friendly staff. Great bedding etc., infact everything was superb. stay very friendly, assist you with everything you like right away and even though it is a big hotel, it has a very comforting atmosphere and you will be even welcomed and assisted by the hotels director itself! Definitely again.

... lo que la gente dice » ng decor choices. All in all it is a beautiful hotel but I think some of the interior in the reception area could be more tastefully decorated. The room/bathroom was also a bit bare. Great venue and space. There should be more signs for the hotel and hotel parking access.

33 on first is a wonderful guest house, with a very beautiful
decoration, very friendly staff, really tasteful breakfast and located
in the best neighborhood of Johannesburg (safe and quiet, but with many
options of restaurants and bars). However, the best experience we had in
the week we stayed in the house was the contact with Johan, the owner.

A very attractive decoration with home atmosphere cerated by all but specially by Johann-owner. Tasteful South African breakfast (for my friends it was a first time in RSA), no problem with anything we asked for - thanks Johann.
