Apartment hotel room was large and fully equipped for extended stays and had an excellent location close to eateries and clubs and added plus a great view of Table Mountain. - Great Location. Amazing Service. Parking a bit expensive, but you can park outside for cheaper. Even overnight!!

I was there for a conference and everything was excellent: the room was comfortable and quite large, the linen very good, the food at the conference was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything worked well and it was an excellent 3 days. -

It's such a quirky hotel in design, which actually makes it fun to stay there. Staff were also excellent, extremely helpful and pleasant - Great hotel, great location, great staff just perfect!

The hotel and staff extremely welcoming and friendly. The room exceeded my expectation and would happily recommend it to anyone going to Cape Town. The setting overlooking Table Bay and the Waterfront, the sunsets and sunrises (if the weather be good!!). The welcome from the staff even though we were late arrivals. Breakfast watching the sun rise!! -

The location was great, lots of choices for dinning and shopping and centrally located so that made it easy to get out and about. the Waterfront was well sign posted for visitors unfamiliar with Cape Town so that was a huge plus when going out and then returning, we never got lost.... being on the harbour withthe excursions was a plus as well. We could not have been happier wioth our choice of hotel, and would stay there again should we visit.

The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful, always smiling, and solicitous without being in your face. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choices and value for money; use of the business centre at no extra cost was a godsend - see wi-fi
The entrance/lobby very spacious and felt homely. I would definitely stay at the Portswood again
