Excellent airport pick-up service. Welcoming arrival, some nice tea served. Good selection of food and quality dining facilities. Decorative elements, attached to details. Beautiful, spacious rooms, with lots of innovative pleasant details. Discrete atmosphere. Family run hotel feeling. I could hardly expect more from a city hotel.

I stayed here for a bussiness-trip in februari 2013. Felt home from the moment I entered the guesthouse. Staff members are very helpfull. The garden is a very nice place to sit after a day working. Beautiful rooms (6 + 7) with nice view on gardens and good facilities. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Walking distance (safe) to Melville 7th st with many bars and a number of restaurants. Parking indoors. Would certainly recommend this guesthouse.

Excellent place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent decore, excellent breakfast, and very, very clean. We will stay there everytime we travel to Joburg. -

Close to Johannesburg and still had a bushveld feeling. Great to be able to see and handle lion cubs. IN newer part of the hotel had a great view and lovely room and bathroom. -

Good wifi connection. Excellent and friendly/homely, the staff and
setup give you that home away from home feeling, as opposed to that
restrictive hotel thing. For a frequent traveler it lets you kick off

33 on first is a wonderful guest house, with a very beautiful
decoration, very friendly staff, really tasteful breakfast and located
in the best neighborhood of Johannesburg (safe and quiet, but with many
options of restaurants and bars). However, the best experience we had in
the week we stayed in the house was the contact with Johan, the owner.

A very attractive decoration with home atmosphere cerated by all but specially by Johann-owner. Tasteful South African breakfast (for my friends it was a first time in RSA), no problem with anything we asked for - thanks Johann.
