Franschhoek Manor was just gorgeous. The house was lovely and the garden was beautiful with two swimming pools and lots of nooks and crannies to sit in peace. Our room was huge with a spacious bathroom and a great four poster bed you had to climb up into. Wolfgang did the best breakfasts we had in South Africa - not only was the food very tasty but it was all beautifully presented. The two dogs were very friendly and Christina and Wolfgang were the perfect hosts.

We found the place extremely and pleasantly private. Despite knowing that there were a large number of cars in the guesthouse parking area, we barely saw anyone over our two night stay, except for during breakfast and the mass check-out exodus.
