The staff were great, just couldn't do enough for you and the hotel
itself is a great mix of the old original house and newly built annex
with lots of facilities, including a bar, jaccuzzi (if the weather
allows), good size pool etc.Breakfast is also of a high standard with an
excellent continental selection as well as choice of hot options. The
breakfast room is a lovely location with comfortable chairs and soothing
background music being played, all getting the day off to a great start.

I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. It was also situated near to the cental area. We arrived early and they looked after our luggage until the room was ready. The room was clean and had all the facilities you would expect. The s

The rooms and service is very good. The location of the hotel is good and the use of the free shuttle to the Vand A water front is very useful. If you get a good rate this is the hotel to stay in.
