it's at the city centre. a block away from the metro station and other historical tourist attractions. it's a few minutes walk from the waterfront too.
the breakfast buffet is also fulfilling. i wonder if they change the menu, however, 2 days worth of buffet was fine with me.

Maybe I was lucky but my room was very large, at 9th floor with a nice view of the city center. Also the bathroom was big and clean.
Well located in the center in st georges mall street near shops and not so far from green market square. Good breakfast served in a separate cafè close to the hotel.
Good free wi-fi signal.
The reception/congierge is very efficient and gave me information on tour and restaurant were to go.

It is easily accessible by car to Table Mtn., the V&A waterfront, and all the highways-40 minutes to Stellenbosch, half that to Cape Town International Airport; walking distance to the Community Gardens and 40+ restaurants. The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. And of course the lovely friendly dogs. -

The staff was friendly and very helpful. Although I had to leave at 4am on my check out day, I found breakfast ready for me at that ungodly hour. I love the location, it's within walking distance of the best places in Cape Town and public transport too (especially my favourite MyCiTi bus).

Perfect stay for my recent business trip. Secure and easy access to come and go as I please and a perfect location for a early morning jog before a delicious breakfast. La coordialidad de la atención. - We liked everything. The hotel deserves 4 stars, sadly, however, i'msure it counts against them that parking is a problem, and they don'thave a kitchen that provides room service. - the hotel was situated very central. Staff are very friendly.

This place was absolutely wonderful! The staff are extremely friendly and always helpful. It is minutes away (walking) from downtown Cape Town and a 20 minute taxi ride from beautiful Table Mountain, which you have an amazing view of from the hotel itself. Also, there are several wonderful and affordable restaurants right across from the lodge!! -

Highly recommended!
Burt and Bev are wonderfull people who really make you feel at home and let you do your own thing. Basicly the whole top floor is for the guests with great rooms with great views and own lounge/living room with a coffee machine, fruit, fridge with beer and wine. Just like you would have at home.

Clean, comfortable and in an excellent part of Cape Town. The area is safe enough to walk around and just up the road from the sea front. Burt, who is the owner is a wonderful host who will make you feel right at home. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Cape Town.
