  Not an ultramodern hotel but rather a well maintained hotel with a more genteel feel. The rooms were nicely sized, comfortable bed and kept spotless by the staff. The rooms were well soundproofed so you had no extraneous noise from other rooms. The restaurant was pleasant and the food well above average. The hotel is quite well placed in a slightly quieter part of town next to the parliament buildings but only a 10 minute strol - Staff eager to help us as we arrived early were leaving late and had to leave luggage at hotel. We were upgraded to double rooms with views of Table Top. A cheap taxi ride or walk from all the major city sites. Excellent breakfast included. Rooms spacious with all facilities. Compared with our hotel in Rio on the same trip and for the same price Townhouse was streets ahead. Can't wait to go back to Cape Town and when I do there's only one place I'll be staying - The Townhouse.

  This apartment was perfect. Not too big, and not small, the loft above was wonderful and the view from the window was brilliant - both the city as well as table mountain. Nora, who checked us in, was particularly helpful. People who never travelled to south africa, can enjoy this location, cause it is in the comercial center of the city, and easily can enjoy lots of facilities

  A very nice lodge. Staff is warm and welcoming. If you like to activate yourself, they have all the offers/contacts available from the house. Breakfast is good and the atmosphere gives you a feeling of being home. Recommended! - Great hospitality, nice room, clean bathroom, very quiet position.
