He made quite an impression on me ; the others too and that is why I will be staying at Marriott Resort in September 2014 for 3 days. Buffet breakfast is great-many choices for guests.   Staff wanted to accommodate anything I wished for. I was in a room that was not in good condition. It was slated to be renovated after the Salalah Festival which was just coming to an end the week I arrived. I was upgraded to a more expensive room and not charged more. Islamic principles are used as guidelines for this hotel. Alcohol - The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was very nice. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The pool is very big and lovely to swim in.

  better standard than expected - 1. Very nice receptionists who helped with everything (ordering taxis, laundry etc.), 2. Nice and large rooms, 3. Much better services than you would expect from a ** hotel with a rate of 21 OMR for a double room, 4. Clean. In general, it was the best hotel experience we had in Oman and very enjoyable.
