  We had an excellent large room with two panoramic windows and fjord view. The location is very convenient- just few meters from the ferry terminal (but still silent!) and very close to Balestrand. The selection of food at breakfast might be wider, but it's typical for Norway, yet the quality was perfect. Very delicious fish at dinner. We had the 3 course dinner at the hotels restaurant which was yummy but the best was the wonderful view while eating dinner. We could see dolphins in the fjord! Staff were friendly and helpful and the place was very clean.

  The hostel is currently closed for repairs due to bust pipes. The Info Desk at the train station directed us to the souveneir shop. The shop is run by the same people and a man kindly gave us a lift to the new accomodation in his van. The apartment had a great view from the loungeroom and was a fully equipped house. Great value for mone - The location is excellent, just 3 mins walk to railway station and port. Monica is very kind and try to pick up us at railway station even we drive by ourself. The hostel do not have so many rooms and we shared a three room apartment with an Italian family. The room for our family is too small but Ok for a one night stay. It is better to stay in bigger room if you have an older child, however the price is quite reasonable.
