I would describe the furniture in the room as functional, it is certainly better than basic it is very clean with a small balcony overlooking the chalets and camper vans below and more importantly a wonderful view of the fjord. Location is amazing, we were in one fjordview room just in front of the fjord. However there is a camping in front of the hotel, so I guess it's better to stay at higher floors in order to enjoy the fjord even more (we were at 2nd floor out of 6). Breakfast is a complete buffet, you can dind everything you want, and the woman at te reception is very kind and helpful. Prices are not expensive taking into account the high prices in Norway, and it's worrh paying a little more for the room with fjo

Comfortable beds, heat in the bathroom-floor, vineoffer in the room, good space in our room and exellent breakfast. Very good service when I left my suitcase and it had to be sent by post. -

Truly baby-friendly hotel.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Centrally located in the city - easy access to the quayside and town.
Rooms are excellent. Some of the ones on the top floor have a good view over the fjord.
Good library for the avid reader - including English books, a rarity in Norwegian hotels.

Staff was very corteous and informative.Gorgeous free WiFi is available at any time. Free parking on site. The hotel is located quite centrally and not too far from the harbour. Breakfast is good.
