It's a basic hotel, no frills, you pay for what you get. All of the reception staff were excellent: Very friendly and helpful. I arrived early and a room was made ready immediately. I had issues with TV channels and additional wifi was given as recompense. Good location, handy to some reasonable restaurants and grocery shops. A fairly direct route

The room was clean and comfortable.
Very basic kitchen items, eg no tin opener, no sink to wash plates, just bathroom basin. Very pleasant lady on reception. But good value for money and very handy to most places.

I had read many bad review of Empire Apartments, and can honestly say I don't know where any of those people were coming from. I like the room decoration of this boutique hotel. In the afternoon while I stayed, the bird's song filled the whispering breeze when I was reading near the window besides the garden. Spacious well appointed family apartment with lovely views over the harbour and city but only minutes into the city. We stayed in an inner city apartment for the first part of our stay and the minute I walked into the apartment at Quality Hotel Parnell I felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders and that I was really on holiday. Was great to have an outdoor play area that the apartment overlooked, it gave the children a little freedom and allowed us to relax. Loved it and would definately g

For us the location was excellent as we could walk through the domain to the hospital. Staff very helpful and friendly, everything worked efficiently in the room, shower, tv, radio, etc. even had a hair dryer. Also it was very quiet, away from city noises. Bed was comfy and I slept well. - Close to CBD
