I had read many bad review of Empire Apartments, and can honestly say I don't know where any of those people were coming from. The room was incredibly basic, but for the price, this is what we expected. However, it was immaculately clean and the beds were comfortable. counter, who didnt believe me when I said id been over charged, I have
since proved I was over charged and have recieved a credit, but wont be
returning, as the reception service and billing at stamford plaza was

Friendly staff - I was able to check in later when I missed my flight into Auckland at no extra cost no questions asked.
Security Guard Otis was awesome! Made us feel safe and comfortable (especially coming home at early hours of the morning)
